Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland have again proved, that they are excellent -- in the variety of high quality chocolates, great festive and colorful ambiance, and absolutely wonderful customer service. Their Rewards program works perfectly, too.
It is always a great pleasure to visit this place. I bought Assorted Truffle Box of 16 delicious chocolate truffles ("truffes") the other day, and it was another pleasant visit.
Merci beaucoup! Vielen Dank! Many Thanks!
Happy Valentine's Day!

It doesn't matter whose name is on the box. Chocolate is chocolate. Doesn't everybody love chocolate? But Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland takes chocolate to a different level. Located on the fifth floor of the 900 North Michigan Shops at 900 North Michigan Avenue, this Swiss chocolate shop offers more than 100 varieties of chocolate, from 24 kinds of truffles to praline to caramels to chocolate bars to crunchy nuts to Gianduja to Marzipan to hand-dipped fruit, jellies and preserves. The Zurich-based chocolatier has over 80 years of experience and it shows in the quality of the product. Open from 10 to 7 Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday, Teuscher offers collections and boxes for every occasion, even if you just want to munch on chocolates in your man cave while watching a sporting event. Start with a Champagne truffle, Teuscher's signature piece, a Dom Perignon Champagne cream center surrounded with a dark chocolate ganache coated in milk chocolate and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar. How about a praline with sugar and almonds melted and hardened into a brittle, then crushed, resulting in a light crunchy filling that is combined with chocolate? Or a Gianduja, a filling of finely ground nuts and chocolate? Or a Marzipan made with 2/3 almonds or pistachios or walnuts and 1/3 confectioner's sugar? The only thing missing is peanut brittle. But a dozen caramels and crunchy nuts is guaranteed to put a smile on my face and a few calories on my diet.

I love living in Chicago and one of the things I love the most is being able to go to Teuscher whenever I want. Chicago has the number one and number two best chocolates in the world. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they are worth it. Teuscher chocolates are the best. Absolutely amazing. I take friends and family here when they visit and they love Teuscher. Plus the employees are so nice. They help you with ideas and choices. When you visit Chicago, Teuscher is a must go. How often do you get to try the best chocolates in the world? I love Teuscher and you will too!

Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland at 900 Shops Mall (Level 5) is always pleasant to visit -- and I always feel welcome, which was again the case several days ago, when I stopped by, was greeted most friendly, and bought a custom-filled box of 16 Assorted Truffles of dark and milk chocolate with a variety of soft fillings -- the truffles are fantastically delicious, as was expected.
A high-quality of Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland refers not only to chocolates, but also to the superb customer service, courteous and hospitable staff, and a very pleasant and colorful ambiance. It is just a joy to visit this place.
Many Thanks, see you next time!

Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland is located in the 900 Shops Mall at N Michigan Ave.
The place excels in offering all kinds of high quality chocolates , as well as in providing a superb customer service -- very friendly, personable, attentive, communicable and helpful. The management and staff are always happy to see their customers.
Besides the variety of chocolates, quite noticeable is the unique packaging, the imaginative decor and the whole bright-colored, cheerful ambiance, that makes you feel welcome. There are various chocolate packages for holidays, personal events or some important cultural events in the city. I was quite surprised and happy to get a 6 piece box of Assorted Truffles, with a cover photo of the ongoing Van Gogh Exhibition at AIC, where I went afterwards. Plus I bought a box of Bulk Chocolate -- all delicious!
Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland can also be a perfect place to buy a high quality, sweet gift. Plan to be back soon, thanks for excellence!

Teuscher Chocolates of Switzerland in Chicago is undoubtedly a high-end chocolate shop, with a lot of chocolate choices. I happened to visit there for the first time. The staff -- two hospitable ladies -- couldn't be friendlier, they were also very helpful: they told me about a popular choice -- Champagne Truffles, that could either be purchased in a box, or packed individually in a nice little green bag. I ordered four of those truffles (in a tini-tiny green bag -- you can barely see it in one of the attached photos :). Needless to say, that I regretted later, that I didn't buy more: the high quality chocolate is absolutely delicious! Heavenly delicious, without exaggeration.
Plan to be back and get a lot more of those unforgettable Champagne Truffles in a large box! Thank you in advance!

It may not be Zurich but the chocolates could have fooled us. We loved the chocolate covered orange peels but we know it is all good.

Who would have ever guessed that chocolate shop like this exist outside of Europe it was almost like being home the children loved it and we appreciate that the Americans like and are friends with most European countries with the exception of our horrible hotel this trip to Chicago has been very nice people have been very welcome in especially in the downtown area.
The selection of chocolate in goodies here is overwhelming I am just glad I don't live here because I would eat here at least once a month the children enjoyed it very much

The Chocolate was about the best truffle I have ever had. Expensive, but worth it. The service was excellent, and although expensive, excellent value.

Chocolates are good, no doubt, but you can imagine the cost involved in flying them from Switzerland and selling them from this spendy real estate. We took a ~$50 box of a dozen or so pieces as a gift for our host in town but, next time, I’ll look for a small local source of good chocolate.
Four/five stars for the chocolates and one/two for the value equals a rating of three.

Tip: call and order ahead if you have particular chocolates you want. They get them flown in fresh, so only order a specific amount to have on hand. Plenty of great variety. I enjoy the seasons. Something for everyone. Friendly staff. Worth your stop!
