Delicious food, excellent service, nice ambience and good location - strongly recommend if you are looking for Indian cuisine

Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. We stumbled upon the restaurant, looking for a late lunch We will be back.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting. Everything we ate (vegetable samosas, crab curry, murg vindaloo) was absolutely fantastic. We will be back for sure! The dishes weren't terribly expensive either, especially for downtown Chicago.

Indian restaurant at prime location. This restaurant has overall pleasant ambience. Decoration and arrangements are well thought and appealing to senses. We went there around Noon. Immediately got seated. I noticed they don't offer table in a separate section (where Sofa seating is available) for...all guests. Only few guests are offered this section. I would expect even distribution specially during covid to maintain social distancing which some guest may prefer. But instead 95% guest were seated in main dinner than this separate section. To place order make sure to tell waiter you are ready unless they won't ask you anything. Once placed order make sure you have enough juice available in your phone since it may take more than 30 min to get your dishes. It took more than 40 min for us. Fortunately food taste was good else it would be complete disappointment. We orders Planner Kadhau which surpringly had gravy. Usually kadai dishes are dry ones. Taste was good. We also order Dal Tadka. It was good but there was no Tadka at all. May be this is how majority guests prefer. Got Plain Tandoori Roti which was really good. 1 roti would be more than enough for 1 person. (Unfortunately) we also ordered Basmati Rice which cost $5. But this was no basmati or may be some cheap Basmati type. Not worth it at all. If you checkin on Yelp you may get free beverage. In short presentation is very well thought here but food service and food taste need a lot improvement. . considering food price it would rate 3.5.More

I absolutely loved my meal. So much that I took the leftovers home. Unfortunately the food was packed in several plastic containers, which as we know are not really recyclable. I suggest they change to compostable containers, and everything will be perfect!

I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, rice and tandoori chicken. The chicken tikka masala was a mess. Too much spices especially turmeric powder to make it look presentable. I travel 150+ nights across the US for business and have never tasted anything disgusting like...this. The garlic naan and tandoori chicken were fine. I would rather drive to Devon Ave. next time when I’m in town for authentic and reputable Indian restaurants. I would not recommend this place.More

I went there for dinner. I ordered Spinach pulav and Dal. It was very delicious. It was properly cooked, delicious and had great aroma. The ambiance was palace like and music was good. Would Definitely visit again.
