Title says it all. Delivery took way to long, almost half an hour after promised time. Pizza arrived burnt. Pizza is round but they cut it like a square pizza. How do you share that with other people. Some pizza slices were the size of...a cracker, ridiculous. They claim family owned and operated, then this family must go hungry a lot because eating burnt pizza is gross. Much better pizzas in Chicago then this place.More

Pizza is good but delivery is insanely slow. Whenever you call to follow up on an order, the wait in the phone is 15 minutes on average.

We came to Bacci Pizza for lunch. It is located on the southeast corner of Montrose Ave. and Milwaukee Ave. There is street parking in the immediate area. Bacci Pizza is not huge, but it is a nicely kept restaurant, including both of the restrooms....When you walk in, the first thing that you will notice is the pizza display case, where they have pizzas on display that are available by the slice. The menu is directly above and you place your order at that counter. You then find a seat and they'll call you when the pizza is ready, rather quickly. We ordered a slice of thin crust sausage pizza, as well as a slice of deep dish sausage pizza. The thin crust pizza slice is absolutely one of the biggest slices that I have seen. The deep dish slice is pretty big, as well, though not quite as big as the thin crust. Both pizzas tasted very good. The fountain machine is typical, but it is available for you for additional refills - a nice touch. The prices are very reasonable and the front counter staff is really friendly and personable.More

I love Bacci. I used to go to the old one (on Wells?) years ago, during my lunch break. I moved jobs, and just found out they recently opened another one on Franklin! Just a block and a half away. If you've ever had Garibaldi's,...or Sbarro, you know that a slice of pizza is usually pretty big, right? WRONG. Bacci's pizza slice is double the size, if not more. It's literally the size of a small floor mat. Probably the same amount as a small sized whole pizza. Guess how much it costs for that giant piece of deliciousness? Not $10, as you would assume for a Chicago eatery. Nope, all you will pay is $5 and some change for tax. That's it. While it's not the most amazing pizza around, (I mean, this IS Chicago), it hits the spot. The dough, sauce and cheese are all good enough for me! And WAY better than any fast food pizza chain! I have not tried any of their pastas, sandwiches or deep dish pizza yet....because I cannot stray from my slice of plain cheese pizza. Boring, but tasty! I did see a pizza, that was named something masculine, (forgot the name), but it had Italian beef, onions and hot giardiniera peppers on it. If I could just get them to make it without the peppers, it would be my next choice. But, if they made it that way, maybe it wouldn't be so masculine?? If you want pizza, and don't have much cash, Bacci would be my first choice!!! I love this place.More

Have eaten here several times. The OMG it's SO big theme is certainly true - you'd be hard pressed to find a larger slice anywhere. It lacks a bit in flavor and the soda fountain is weak but an OK lunch for under $10

$5 gets you a huge slice of mediocre pizza and a soda. Its pizza, and I will eat pretty much anything with bread, sauce, and cheese. But there are way better options.

Where else can you get a massive slice of pizza for $5?!?? Bacci pizza is good! It a quick easy stop-in. Pizza is always ready so you don't have to wait long. The slices are enough to share or have leftovers. You get a drink...for that $5 too. It does offer a bunch of other menu items so there's something for everyone. Be mindful that parking right out the door is permit but down the street is free residential parking.More
