Had the best salmon dish ever! It literally melted in my mouth. Came with roasted potatoes and cooked spinach. It was excellent. Eaten in this restaurant before and it has been consistently good.

Tarantino's is a beautifully decorated, intimate Italian restaurant in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The food is reliably good with interesting specials and friendly service. A great spot for the weekend but also a terrific mid-week treat. Also fun to sit at the bar before dinner.

Parking on the street was hit or miss for 2+blocks. This neighborhood of Lincoln Park is pleasant. Atmosphere & service were top. Not loud inside.Bright & open inside, it was to chilly for dining outside? I did think the wood chairs were going to be uncomfortable but they were not. They did have booths but not surrounding both sides. We... More

Ate here with a group recently and also some time ago. Both times my reaction was mixed. The pizzas and the appetizers seem to be the best offerings here. The pastas were OK. Service is good and wines by the bottle are not overly marked up. The premises are casual attractive and the outdoor seating (weather permitting) is very pleasant.... More

If you find yourself in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago and in need of a very good local restaurant, you cannot go wrong with Tarantino's! The food (mostly Italian if one has to apply a label) is excellent (with many specials being offered a), the wine selection is well above average, the service is quite good and the price... More

I suppose it doesn't make sense to order filet mignon or tilapia at an Italian-American restaurant that has been cooking delicious rigatoni and bruschetta and orechiette and black linguini and two-sausage pizza for 20 years. But, on this night, I had a taste for filet mignon. Tarantino's 10-ounce filet was seasoned, grilled and glistening with truffle butter, something right out... More

"Tarantino's" was great ***. Heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette out of this world. My wife had chicken parmesan she enjoyed it very much and I had the tilapia, the best I have ever had. So if your in the city's Lincoln Park area that's the place to go for Italian food that's very good.

Lincoln Park area. Cozy relaxing atmosphere - it was very quiet because the Cubs were playing, which was fine for us a party of 6. Our waitress Nicole was very helpful. If you want bread you must request it- it's worth it! It is served with fresh olive oil dipping sauce. The desserts are wonderful- Creme Brulle, Molten Lava Cake,... More

Another one of my favorite stops for dinner in Lincoln Park. Some of the best apricot encrusted lamb chops I've ever had. Polished off with a craft cocktail and I'm in heaven. Service is always very strong and the atmosphere is perfect for a couple guys that want to enjoy generous portions of meat or perfect for date night.

We have walked by a dozen times and finally went in! A treat! Vegetables perfectly grilled, the salmon was perfect and the pappardelle just right with more perfect veggies. Tuesdays turned out to be half off bottles of wine. Our Sangiovese was great!
