I'm not from Chicago but in my opinion this is truly Chicago deep dish pizza. The buttercrust and fresh meats make my mouth water still.

While on vacation with family, there were 11 of us last night who needed to be fed. With the help of the Malnati's employee on the phone, we did the math and figured that 3 large deep dish pizzas would yield 2 slices per person...More

We got the malnati style deep dish with the buttery crust and Italian sausage. The sausage was the star of the pizza. The sauce was clearly fresh with lots to of tomatoes chunks but not good. Service was not good and staff was not friendly.More

Lou Malnatis or Ginos East are the two options for Chicago pizza. If someone mentions Giordanos, slap them.

This was our first deep dish pizza in Chicago, and it was truly outstanding. With that being said, we have no other Chicago deep dish pizzas with which to compare, so there might be equal or better pizzas available, but we will certainly stop here...More

Having only a brief stay in Chicago we were keen to see if there were any authentic Chicago deep dish pizza restaurants near our hotel. We were pleased that this gem was just a short walk from the Hilton. Marvellous pizza which has a beautiful...More

We'd never had Chicago style deep dish pizza before, and were slightly disappointed - we were expecting a thick, doughy pizza crust - we were way off! Instead, our crust was thin and only "deep" in that the thin crust went up the side of...More

Not that I'm aware of, but if you're going to KC you should consider bbq at Joe's (the original location in the gas station) or the original location of Arthur Bryant's. Gate's bbq is decent, but we don't care for Jack... More
