Everest remains one of the finest dining experiences in the country. This is a restaurant not to be missed. Chef Joho continues to personally oversee a staff second to none in a space with amazing ambience and mind blowing views. The food is incredible. No resting on laurels. Innovative, satisfying, and beautifully presented. The wine list is pricey but deep... More

We ate here before we saw Hamilton and felt like royalty. So many people took such great care of us. We had "the choice" menu. You must have the lobster as one of your starters. The sole and halibut entrees were perfect, light and beautiful to look at. The chef came out and spoke to us and we felt so... More

My wife and I went for our 3 year anniversary dinner. Spectacular sunset view. We had the Everest tasting menu with wine pairing. Fantastic.

It had been about 15 years since I had been here with my husband. This time I ended up going with my three daughters to try for their first time. The restaurant is beautiful with impeccable service and outstanding food. I had the foie grass and the Dover sole that is so highly recommended- both did not disappoint. The sole... More

Very hard to stay at the top of your game year in and year out, but when a restaurant manages it you know that they are paying attention to all components that make a dining experience special. The food is exquisite (we did the Valentine's Day pre-fixe with wine pairings) and the service is attentive but not obtrusive. The view... More

Watching the transition from evening to full night while gazing west through the large windows explained why diners frequently mention the view at Everest. Now I understand... Quite simply the staff here offers an exemplary experience; they are relaxed, friendly, and most helpful in all regards. We were even asked if they could call us a taxi as our meal... More

I went to Everest in December for a holiday dinner, and the experience was so outstanding, my husband and I went back for an early Valentine's Day celebration! Even before my first bite, I was impressed by both the art collection and views of the twinkling city. If you want to experience fine French Alsatian dining without a trip to... More

My husband and I researched romantic restaurants in Chicago and found Everest which appeared great from what we read. Unfortunately our experience was the opposite! We arrived on time and they told us it would be a few minutes for our table, then proceeded to place us in a back empty room. We were told someone would be by shortly... More
