Bavette's was in my top 5 restaurants to frequent in Chicago. I have been disappointed the last two times I dined there. The food was fine and the service was good But it has definitely lost that special something or maybe that special someone that...More

A party of 3, we ordered a variety of appetizers, drinks and entrées. All were well prepared, attractively plated and professionally served. Quality of steaks was outstanding. Each was cooked precisely as ordered. Sauces were great and sides delicious. Interior is very dark making menu...More

It's difficult to get reservations and parking sucks (Valet is at the corner intersection just west of the restaurant), but glad I finally got to dine here. I enjoyed by dry-aged ribeye steak while my wife had the beef strogonoff which was also really good....More

Went here for a family dinner while I was in town visiting. Incredible steak, strong cocktails and outstanding service. I loved the vibe of Bavette's, too. I'd recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great steakhouse in Chicago.

Dined here recently, and had a decent meal. Decor very nice, a little too dark for my liking. Reading the menu was a challenge - take your phone. The food was OK, but for a city with many restaurants that boast of their steak, the...More

Surprising venue, excellent food, very good service. Still, compared to European standards prices are over the top. Glad I was here on invitation. 150$ a person is what you will spend on average.

Two couples, had reservations and were seated immediately. Excellent service and guidance from John. The avocado/crab salad was fantastic, burgers could not get any better and the bourbon pours were generous. Great place to dine with friends in a casual setting with professional service and...More

Over the bridge on Wabash to Kinzie turn left. Up the road about 4 blocks on your right. However long that takes you to walk. I would say at least 20 minutes if you are taking a leisurely stroll.
