A group of 3 of us went here for lunch during the week and really enjoyed it. It's an unassuming place, but boy do they make delicious Polish food! They have everything you could want, potato pierogi, cheese pierogi, fruit pierogi, meat pierogi, Polish sausage, stuffed cabbage, etc. All foods were tasty, especially the stuff cabbage. It's a small place,... More

Wandered in the freezing cold to find this place! So glad for Trip Advisor because it was empty and the grill across the street with a restroom's review wasn't so good. Enjoyed a polish sausage and tried the mushroom and potatoes and farmers cheese pierogis.

A hidden gem. If you like pierogi, you have to try this little hole in the wall. 12-14 pierogis, world-class sausage, all served with a great smile.

Be careful how much you order unless you can take it home. Portions are large! We all ordered a couple of polish sausage and stuffed cabbage (galumpkis). Also 2 dozen pierogi to share. Way too much for five people. Only leftovers were a few pierogi and one sausage. Tried the borscht soup. Good but have had better. Focus on the... More

This was a small place I wanted to try because of the reviews. I had stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce, mashed potatoes and a side of Polish sausage. They were all good but the potatoes were the boxes type. Not a bad place for a quick bite on a budget in the city.

Whether you know pierogi's or not, this place is a great find. Quick and easy to order. Multiple variations. Inexpensive and good quality. First time for our group and we got an excellent experience into the world of Polish pierogi's. Sweet cream was our favorite. Many others to choose from. Do the 3 and 3 split to try different ones... Growing up in Chicago with Polish friends, I learned to love pierogi, but now living in Wisconsin, it's rare to find them. Most of my experience over the last twenty years has been funerals and weddings when I had to go back to the Chicago area. A couple of weeks ago we met old friends and walked around the loop.... This is a small, hole-in-the-wal place that is not much to look at.. but those are often the hidden gems. The pierogi were great, especially the meat ones. The stuffed cabbage was decent but not as good as my mother-in-law's. Friendly service!

Small place under the L in the Loop. Clean with friendly staff. The menu is limited to 5 or 6 different pierogi's that are ordered in 3's, stuffed cabbage and a smoked sausage plate. We had the cabbage and meat pierogi's and the sausage plate. The pierogi's were boiled not fried but good. I prefer fresh polish but the smoked... More
