Came here for the all you can eat lunch special and wasn’t disappointed. All the cuts of fish taste great but what really stood out were the appetizers. They were so flavorful and competed with the sushi in terms of quality. In terms of total money I ate, I definitely saved a lot with the all you can eat. Great deal for the price. I’d recommend to anyone. The only qualm I had was the preparation took a little longer than other all you can eat places.

The only reason this isnt 5 stars is due to the annoying signs that make you feel not at home when you walk in, which warns you that you must have all personal items with you at all times and no outside food or drinks. The sushi was great quality at a great price ($21.99 all you can eat). If you abuse that feature and have a LARGE amount of leftovers they will charge you a few dollars. The servers were way more helpful and nicer than a lot of other restaurants I have been to. They were happy to explain and describe the various sushi choices. If you order sushi from Postmates or other restaurants it can be double the price compared to here. $30 worth of sushi is usually only 16 pieces at most places. Here you can pay less than that and recieve way more.

I've been to Sushi Para Too many times to take advantage of the all you can eat Sushi menu. The sushi is fresh and delicious! The restaurant is not very big but it's great for couples and small groups. The restaurant gets very busy on the weekend but if you go during the week it's not an issue. The restaurant is BYOB, so bring your beverage of choice! I'd recommend this place if you're interested in a good meal and BYOB.

I was super excited to try this place as I LOVE sushi. I walked in & it was a bit crowded & I was seated at a small table near the front, it was in a very odd location, so once a seat became available I asked to be moved. We had one waiter who was really sweet & one with died brown hair that was a bit rude. The service was just ok. I was happy to order off the all you can eat menu, but so disappointed with the quality of the food. The shumai and miso soup were fine. The sushi was absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this place nor will I be returning.

Absolutely fabulous little place. Family, friendly, lovely service, fabulous sushi. I’ve been there twice with my family and everybody loves it. The sushi is amazing and all you can eat is a fun experience everyone in the family.

I sat by the sushi bar and had a good time at this place. Overall, the quality was decent. The place gets busy on weekends, so take care!

Sushi Para II was ok for me. I am allergic to raw fish, so I was hoping that they had some cooked fish (the only reason I came here was because all my relatives were meeting here). I had the teriyaki salmon hot plate, which was delicious, and the salmon was soft and tender. However, my friend that I was travelling with had the sushi all you can eat, and he had a terribly upset stomach afterwards. We had to change our vacation plans because of that. I would not come here again.

My husband and I practically rolled out of Sushi Para II during our visit to Chicago! We simply could not believe that, unlike the general practice of other "all you can eat" joints, this one used fresh, quality ingredients and customized it to your liking. $20 for all the sushi I want? Are you kidding me?! I'm still pinching myself and wishing I lived a heck of a lot closer so I could enjoy this place on a regular basis! As previously mentioned, the quality of sushi is fairly good. Some may feel that there is a bit too much rice, but that is completely subjective. Sushi Para II provides an excellent opportunity to try a new type of roll with little risk: try one, if you like it order more -- if not, you are all the more wiser and have lost very little. Our server and host were both professional, I would not describe them as overly friendly, but what the heck do I care? We don't have to be best friends, just serve me my food in a timely manner. And that...that is where I think they could sharpen up a bit. It seemed like we waited a bit too long for our second round of food. Perhaps they were simply astonished at the volume of food we could eat?! They allow folks to bring their own alcohol sans the corkage fee, which is much appreciated! Remember: It's all you can eat. The caveat being that you will be charged extra for any remaining food on your plate. So order wisely.

A very reasonable price, decent selection, courteous staff, yummy sushi. You do have to be able to eat what you order or they will charge extra to take it home. It's a great deal and that rule keeps it that way. It's not fancy but it's very popular with us locals. Suggest you try it.

This is my friend's go to for fairly priced sushi in Chicago, so of course when I visited last, we had to stop by here for dinner. It was on a beautiful but chilly April evening and their thermostat was seriously off - it was cold one minute, and hot another. The staff was alright - not terrible, not amazing either. Now onto the good stuff :) Sushi Para II allows their patrons to bring their own alcohol without charging a corkage fee, so FREE of charge - can't complain about that! Another great thing about this place is "All you can eat" for just $19.99 so definitely come hungry :) the only catch is if you have any leftovers, you do get charged extra for those items. My friend and I ordered quite a lot and while the rolls were nothing to write home about, all of them were pretty good. I would recommend this place for a quick dinner (All you can eat) and drinks (bring your own alcohol!) before heading out somewhere more fun, but not necessarily for a special occasion.

Fresh, large selection of sushi with a great all-you-can-eat option. Attentive service. Nice interior. My favorite is the prepared to order gyoza (ground meat filling wrapped into a thinly rolled piece of dough served warm). We all enjoyed the all-you-can eat option. Tea weak.

Very Tokyo in aroma, look and language barrier. Ordered the all you can eat sushi and a chicken soup. The spicy tuna sushi was the best of the lot. The soup had enough chicken and thick squarish noodles that were spongy on the outside and firmer on the inside. Overall an ok local place. Our waiter hardly spoke English and didn't seem to know what he was serving. Maybe it was his first day.
