Family run and done well. Been going since their first tiny place and keep going back because of the food quality and excellent service. We’ve had family parties and never had a bad meal. I’m sure I’ve had everything on the menu at least once....Fair warning-the Cameron al Diablo are NOT for the faint of heart. WAY HOT, but delicious.More

First time here. Chips were fresh. Not wild about the salsa ... but the shrimp fajitas were delicious. Good portions here so while slightly pricey you get bang for your buck. Quality service too. Nice spot for dinner.

The food, the service and the location is perfect. Less than five minutes from our home. A gem!! You must try the Milaneza!! Comes with rice, refried beeans, tortillas and pico de gallo.

I visited the location in Rosemont. Loved the food and atmosphere! Great food and drink! Make reservations they fill up fast! Great places usually do!

Maria’s has been a staple in the Rosemont and Elmwood Park/Chicago area for decades. They are a go to for a nice night out for outside patio dinning although I wish the smoking outside was controlled more. Inside is fabulously decorated with color, personality and...expression. Free: table chips and salsa (mild and not available) Note: guacamole is very good but very pricey they call it “market price avocados” we did it once thinking what can a side of guacamole cost like meh, $6.50? And nope we were charged $13. Try: chicken soup (not the red broth) great even as a LARGE bowl for a meal - served on certain days of the week. Chicken burrito suizo is a go to must for me. Served with rice and beans, garnish of orange and or radish. Soup or salad comes with. Drinks are extra. Dessert: fried ice cream with whipped cream They are known for making exquisite knock you out of this world adult beverages. I am not a drinker, did have one once, whoa, it was flavorful, large and not stingy on the good stuff... always be safe and have a driver for you! Booths and tables available. Can accommodate small and large parties including handicap people. Live music table-side is offered but not required. Tips are accepted for this. Service varies. We have had excellent, attentive and friendly servers and sometimes we have very sarcastic servers etc. just like anywhere else. Can do take out or dine in. Some services online offer the online delivery feature but I live near by so that does not apply to me. Parking: free street and lot parking. Overall/conclusion: Bottom line is they are consistent. You know what you are getting every time you walk in. You want that in food and a place you will return to or recommend to friends, family or business people. If you had a bad experience somewhere else, good food and comfy booths await you in a familiar setting. We go for lots of occasions. Try them at Halloween, they decorate super cute!More

We went on a Friday night, the parking lot was full and so was the bar. There were tables available but not for long, this place fills up fast. We started with guacamole (why is it always "market price"?) which was delicious and plentiful. We...both had enchiladas, mine were chicken and his were beef - we sampled each others and they were both great, and so plentiful we each took half home. Also had a frozen peach margarita so very refeshing. There were a lot of families with small children but the room is so noisy they just blended in. There's also a guitarist making his way around the room.More

Order the fresh margarita. I have been going regularly for years. Carne asada is incredible, also the chicken fajitas. The tortilla soup is delicious and comes in a huge bowl that can serve 2. Maria, Ricky, Elias, and the whole staff are friendly and treat...you like family.More

My father and I went to eat at Maria’s last night and have nothing but great things to say! The food is amazing and everything is so fresh. Our waiter, Carlos, was phenomenal. By far the best waiter I have ever had. The manager, Ricky,...went to every table asking everyone how everything was and just to talk. It was like he was friends with everyone in the restaurant. All of the staff was professional, courteous and friendly. They truly make you feel like you’re at home or dinning with lifelong friends. We will defiantly be back!More

Sorry to say, the food is not good, but it also isn't bad. 3 out of 4 waitstaff is very friendly, except one. I won't mention his name, but he's not pleasant. His jokes are not funny. Rude. Everyone else is friendly and hospital. The...food is average, and the drinks aren't anything to get excited about. My friend likes it, so we go. I just wouldn't recommend this place. Sorry. :(More

I can't say enough about Maria's. From the owner, Maria, to the excellent staff, you always feel at home there. The margaritas and food are top notch and the service is warm and friendly. The Chicken Soup is not to be missed, but they don't...serve it on the weekend. The spinach quesadillas and Carne Asada are out of this world! If you want a place to go where you can always count on great food and service, Maria's is it!More

Our family has been coming here for years. The portions are large and include soup or salad. Weekend fish specials are excellent! Great margaritas, especially the watermelon. Sunday's brunch is a great deal!

We sat in the bar side of the restaurant to catch the ballgame. The service was very poor and the food only ok. My husband had the beef tacos ( which he didn't even eat) the meat was not good at all. I had the...combo plate ( chicken everything) again only ok. The margarita and watermelon margaritas were both good. But over all disappointed.More

Been here many times through the years, and they have consistently good food. However it is pricey, 13 plus dollars for an enchilada plate that would be 9 dollars elsewhere, at least you get a salad. Some will surely disagree, but I was not here...on a date and did not care for the guy with the guitar coming over and singing a song for us while my food got cold and had to stare at him and smile and pretend I liked it, and of course a tip for him. I just wanted to be left alone to eat my meal in peace and conversation. Overall, it's a good place, but pricey, and the parking is terrible, as the lot is small and there is a funeral home across the street which takes up street parking.More
