We started with coffee (excellent) and hot scones while the waiter put in a rush order for toddler's essential scrambled eggs. Custardy French toast, weekly unusual pancakes, and eggs Benedict are favorites, but that morning I chose simply eggs over easy. They were perfect as...were the staple toast and homemade jam. They do exotic and simple equally well.More

Nice place for brunch. Innovative menu including new variations on traditional themes. Fantastic Bloody Mary, good spice and full flavor. Braised lamb wrapped in buckwheat crepe was out of this world

We went for a late breakfast on a Thursday morning. We read about Jam in the NY Times so thought we’d give it a try on one of our frequent trips to Chicago, especially since we stay in Avondale fairly nearby. I had the French...Toast and my husband the decadent carrot cake french toast. Inventive menu and delicious. The only complaint I had was that the tea wasn’t hot enough but they heated it up for me. The restaurant was not very full since it was late for breakfast but early for lunch so service was excellent. We hope that it does get crowded for lunch since this is a restaurant that deserves to last.More

This restaurant was just around the corner from where we were staying. The food was absolutely delicious! So tasty. We ordered the pancakes and french toast. Both equally tasty. Great service and excellent food!

According to the staff at Jam, they say they call every week requesting a change of address because their new location is on Kedzie since November...still listed on Logan. We followed Trip Advisor for directions until we called and asked about location. Went w friends,...atmosphere was great. Some confusion with the wait staff on who was assigned to our table so waited about 10 minutes before we asked who was waiting on us. Didn’t seem to matter to much to them. The food was outstanding, had the waffles and chix and the mole rojo. Both were delicious and we asked to see the chef to thank him. Very gracious. Would have given more stars for better service.More

Excellent food with a twist. Instead of the run of the mill type bacon & egg offering, they offer in house smoke salmon fillet with eggs & hash brown, & pork belly on waffles as specials. Coffee is not tgeir forte, but other than that,...very impressed with very tasty food. Highly recommended!More

I am not a big breakfast or brunch fan but this Sunday we decided to go to JAM. My wife was there before and raved about it so I went. Oh my, what a treat. There was an outdoor market that day in Logan square...so there was a cool crowd and nice vibe. We had the special slice of there infamous french toast which was excellent, Breakfast sandwich and my wife had the benedict.. Amazing food.. Highly recommended for casual and low key breakfast. We will be back/More

The food is wonderful, very interesting and inventive menu. Get a double order of the French toast and share. Everything our table of eight ordered was terrific. But the best part was our waiter, Derek. He was knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating. Just a great guy!...I would give Jam six stars if I could.More

Wow. I could eat here every day. Start with a Bloody Mary and the just enjoy whatever you order. Great takes on traditional fare like eggs Benedict. I love the originality of the food.

Went here for brunch and split the french toast and omelette plates. The french toast was AMAZING and I would highly recommend getting it again. Omelette was good - I was just a little disappointed the onions couldn't be removed from the dish because they...are already mixed in the chorizo mix. However, it was still good. Coffee was not great considering all the resources available in the city for local coffee. However, our waitress was very good about keeping my cup full so that is always a welcome surprise. It was an unseasonably warm day so we sat on their tiny outside patio which was lovely.More

Got the steak and eggs waffle. Great after a bike ride home from work. The greens on it were super fresh and flavorful. Also got a Corpse-Reviver: solid.

Perfect breakfast .. I had wonderful poached egg whites on polenta and my husband had strawberry and chocolate French toast...loved it and we will be back. Great service too! Noticed a number of kids at other tables, so kid friendly. And the bonus is the...farmers market right there on Sunday's ... Went home with terrific veggies and fruit. Easy to get to blue line Logan Square.More
