We got the vegetable samosas, malai kofta, Chana masala, palak paneer, plain rice, rice with peas, plain naan, and garlic naan for take-out. One rice, 2 entrees, and one naan would have been more than enough for 3 adults and a child. All of it was delicious, though!

Husband had a sudden hankering for Indian and this place was a bunch closer than going all the way to Devon. Great discovery and will be back.

i met up with a couple of friends before heading down the street to a play at city lit theater. little india doesn't have the ambience of a devon street indian restaurant, but it has really good food. i went with the mughlai combo so that i could try a bunch of things--it comes with what i assume is their aloo gobi, though they just call it cauliflower and potatoes, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, rice and naan. i warned them that i was a spice wimp, but even their mild was fairly zesty, especially the aloo gobi. one friend ordered their veggie combo which was palak paneer, vegetable jalfrezie, vegetable biryani, and naan. i only tried the palak paneer, which i liked a lot, but they liked everything. the other friend ordered gobi manchurian, which they had ordered before and loved. they thought it tasted different but my other friend didn't concur--i didn't try it and can't weigh in, but i guess it might make a difference if they have different chefs on different nights? service was wonderfully patient (it took us a while to assemble) and helpful. a good place to try if you don't feel like heading over to devon.

The Little India has consistent good food. We love their weekend buffet as well as their lunch menu. Good service, fresh, warm naan, juicy tandoori chicken, tasty curries and overall, delicious food. Definitely try their goat. The restaurant has become a favorite, whenever we have a taste for Indian cuisine. Recommended!

While in Chicago having interests related to India or Pakistan, particularly foods of Indian subcontinent, a visit here is worth. Lot of restaurants serving foods from these two countries. A street from a point going one side is named Gandhi Raod and the other side is Jinnah Road. The road is full of restaurants and shops selling items from these countries. Restaurants serve buffet or a la crate or both. A visit and walk up and down is retained in memory.

My spouse and I frequent this place after a day at the beach during the summer months. Every time we have gone the place is not busy. We tend to order the same dishes, the samosa and the rogan josh. These are always good. The service has always been good. As long as the food keeps being this good, we will continue to go.

Super friendly staff, delicious food and ridiculous portions. Not much else to see at this stop but if you are craving Indian food in Chicago well worth the trip!

Three pf us visited. All were curry fans. We enjoyed it. There are special forms of naan that we had never seen before . I had it infused with nuts and coconut. It was an exciting discovery. This means that my skinny wife ate most of it.The service is how you expect at a decent place.

This place has a nice atmosphere, great food and service. The lamb dish I had was excellent, perfectly seasoned and the presentation was good. My wife had a vege combo with good flavors. The spinach and cheese dish was excellent.

I love this restaurant--and we have tried a lot as Indian is a favorite. The portions are generous and the prices fair. They use white meat chicken breast (sorry but I hate dark meat that is so often used!). The dishes are very consistent. Delivery fast and inexpensive. Love it!

My husband and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for lunch. Well, the food was sooo good. I had a lunch special, Lamb, Rice, Naan, and Spinach with cheese. OMG!! It was enough for lunch and dinner. My husband had a chicken, Gyro sandwich on Naan with lettuce, tomatoes. We will definitely go there again and recommend.

I've ordered several Paratha (roti) several times. They're pretty good. They're rolled pretty thin and are pretty long...a bit over the top oily though. I've also ordered Naan and I found them to be better than most other restaurants. Their service is pretty good as well.
