Went with a group of friends to this restaurant twice! The first night we went for dinner and the food was good. One person had the bowl of gumbo with crab, shrimp, etc. I had it the night before I left and it was EXCELLENT! The service is a bit slow including getting the drinks from the bar.

Was a fun place to go to. Food was good, and they had live music. Was no cover charge but at 8pm they charged you $10. per person for the entertainment.

Great music venue! Also enjoyed dinner there. Being from Louisiana, I am always hesitant to eat anywhere outside of the region that boasts "Cajun style". Their food did not disappoint!

We visited during Blues Weekend, and had a fun Thursday afternoon. The place was crowded with blues fans who were loving the music.

We just happened to ride by on our way to the hotel - so decided to stop by and check it out. There was a blues guitarist playing when we arrived & did not catch his name - he was very good. We enjoyed our food - cajun meatloaf sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes, and salmon with cajun green beans... More

We'd been told this was a must do in Chicago. We arrived thinking we would spend most of the evening here. Sadly, the music was the only part I could recommend. Drinks took around 15 mins to arrive after ordering - maybe a little longer - we had only ordered 1 bottled beer & a glass of wine. Meal took... More

If you like Cajun/Creole food this place is for you. This was our 3rd separate visit to the restaurant and now consider it a must when we visit the city. No lines, decent music and ambiance.

Great night out with good food, reasonably priced wine and great music. We were advised to arrive between six and seven to get a table which we did, right next to the stage. The service was prompt and really friendly. There were two acts before Brandon Santini and all three were fun. I'd definitely recommend this venue for live music.

We were in the city on a beautiful summer day and looking for somewhere new for drinks and dinner. We were close to Buddy Guy's and decided to give it a try. It was around 6 pm on a Saturday evening when we walked in. The place exceeded our expectations! Nice decor and bright club - they had a duo... More
