When the Wildberry had a 1.5-2 hour wait, we turned around to find someplace we could actually eat BREAKFAST at. We passed Pittsfield Cafe and they had us seated and ordered within 20 minutes. The chef's Skillet was phenomenal. Layered with ham, bacon, sausage, and...More

Stopped in for a late breakfast. Exceptional service - old school Cubbie style. Food was great - can’t go wrong with breakfast ( French Toast - eggs - bacon - hash browns). A must stop if your hungry.

Great combination of historical setting and good food. The avocado Benedict was very good. If the hash browns had not been just a bit chewy this would have been a 5 dot. The rest of the menu and the lunch specials looked good. Counter, booths,...More

We popped by for a quick lunch bite and were very pleased. The diner is hidden inside the Pittsfield building with no outside signage. There was construction which further obscured the building entrance. We sat on the "patio" in the building atrium. Great atmosphere. Service...More

Right inside the beautiful old Pittsfield Building, this is a gem of a diner. Fast, friendly, attentive service. Classic breakfast offerings and solid cup of coffee. If you're near Millennium Park and need a quick, satisfying bite, this is your place.

I don't believe I have ever seen a bigger breakfast menu. And everything is also good. Great home fries, any kind of egg dish, great skillets, pancakes of all kinds. Coffee is very good too. It is hard to imagine a better choice for breakfast.

Not on the street, you have to in the building to find it. Once you're there, you find a dandy dinner with good food and fair prices. My Greek Skillet was excellent with 3 eggs.

This place is inside the Pittsfield Building, and I'm glad I found it via Yelp! The house corned beef was to die for, and getting it in the hash skillet was a great choice. The portion was satiating and the service was lovely and friendly....More

We had breakfast here based upon our hotel staff recommendation. Breakfast for two, including a soda, came to $20. I had croissant with grilled onion, bacon, cheese and eggs...super yummy. Skip the easy to find tourist spots and stop here.
