I have tried the place three times now and each time I have been underwhelmed. The price is right, there are plenty of choices and the food is served quickly. Basil Thai cafe on the campus of the University of Illinois has the most delicious Tom Yum Noodle soup, which is not available anywhere else in town. Every other dish that I have tried at Basil Thai have also been excellent. Get there early during the school year because the line gets very long at noon!

The place is good. The food is very delicious and the service is not bad. The waiters do not take orders at your table but at least they will bring the food to your table! That's a plus but I feel that the place is a bit overpriced.

It's not fancy, but it's good and it's fast. My first (not counting the awful Big Bowl) and maybe best Thai experience to date.
