Bourbon street atmosphere with all the smells and smokiness..The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. Chuck the owner is available to mingle and share his knowledge. The food is a giant variety of Cajun and Southwest dishes. The smoked meats are great along with sides such as dirty rice and beans, corn bread, and white gravy. There is the... More

We have been going to Chucks for many years now. He started with a very small place and expanded over time. After years in the expanded place he moved to his current location in Burbank. We love this place. Our fav for breakfast is Huevos ala Frontera. Lunch/dinner is pulled pork, chicken enchiladas, chicken fried chicken, tostada salad, oh boy... More

Chuck Pine has a great selection of barbecue with a Cajun, Tex-mex flair. Don't try to figure it out, just go in and enjoy. Start with one of the daily soup selections. Parsnip is my favorite but any seasonal veggie cream soup will be a hit. I always order from the daily specials list. Really you can't go wrong on... More

I've been to Chucks twice, and both times were fantastic. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast the first time, and the food was so good. Our server was friendly, and attentive. She was great asset to the restaurant. We went back for happy hour on Monday, and had delicious half price appetizers, and some beverages. We found a new... More

Since we were leaving Midway Airport, we thought we would stop at Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe for dinner. There is plenty of parking at Chucks. As you enter, you'll find the restaurant to your right, and to your left there is a sports bar that during the restaurant kitchen hours will serve the same food as the restaurant. After the... More

This is a breakfast lovers paradise. Go with an appetite because portions are huge. I usually get the huevos rancheros that comes with beans and rice. VERY filling. They also have new fall things on the menu like pumpkin pancakes and a butternut squash skillet. You wont be disspaointed

I ordered a sampler platter, with pulled pork, beef brisket and ribs, and a sausage link. The meats came covered in barbecue sauce so I couldn't taste just the meats. The pulled pork was nicely pulled but seemed like it would have been a little dry without the sauce. I have no idea what the flavor would have been like.... More
