Took forever to initially order, food came and appeared as though it sat under warmer for a while prior to being served...drink refills took forever as well. Overall, service was terrible....decorating the restaurant for Christmas could've waited until there were no customers!
I love Cracker Barrel but don't have one in our area. When we travel we always try and find one so I can get my dumpling fix. So my mixed feelings are this... I loved the dumplings as always. Our service was decent. One thing I noticed and it was not hard to miss was a overbearing manager. He hung... More
Before I rated this restaurant very highly but not now...I had fried chicken livers, turnip greens and fried okra with cornbread. It was so smoky in there that I will have to have my coat dry cleaned. Our server was very friendly and had 3 stars but left my husband's Iced tea glass empty for 20 minutes. My chicken livers were... More
Unless you enjoy your clothes smelling like you've been at a bon fire don't go when the fireplace is on. Smoke was rolling out. You could see it in the ceiling. The whole restaurant smelled. Apparently the chimney does not draw properly. Hopefully not the cooks usual night. The biscuits were pure white and flat with butter too hard to... More

We waited another 20 minutes for the food to be brought to our table. The food was COLD, not luke warm but COLD. The gravy... More

We had slaw, fried apples, hashbrown casserole, green beans, and biscuit and cornbread muffin. The servings were large, so it was plenty enough to split. The service was excellent, and we talked to the server,... More
We enjoyed this stop. It is always clean, friendly and so many choices. We ordered special of the day...baked chicken & dressing with a couple sides. All comes with wonderful biscuits and corn bread. Great comfort food for a dark, cool rainy day on the road. Had to box up the breads for a treat for later. Prices very reasonable.
