quiet night, excellent meal. the beans and salsa with the chips were different than I have had elsewhere. I had the Sopes which were really good. plenty of meat. horchata was very tasty. Waiter was attentive. A free scoop of ice cream with a wafer! You could tell the food was "home-cooked" style. Great!!!

We found this restaurant traveling through Twin Falls on vacation. It did not disappoint. The food was fresh and authentic, the service was superb and the restaurant was sparklingly clean. Highly recommend!

Went here for dinner early on a Friday night and we had the restaurant to ourselves. The menu is simple with many things I recognize from menus at other Mexican restaurants and with a few things I've never seen before. One of which I tried and really enjoyed, Alambre (a steak dish with peppers, onions, cheese, sour cream). The service was great, efficient and friendly. A keeper.

Service is super friendly and this place has what looks like a great menu and excellent reviews, but just don’t. We each had an enchilada dish and it was literally the worst Mexican food I’ve had in memory. Flavorless, small plates for $18. Unidentifiable orange pink sauce… We literally didn’t eat more than a bit of each thing it was so terrible. Unappetizing to look at, small plates, high prices. Taco Bell would have been a better choice.

This lady makes it all from scratch! The food was handmade, authentic, and absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner/chef came out to personally talk to us about the dishes.

We were passing through Twin Falls and wanted a sit down lunch. We checked "restaurants near me" and randomly chose Jarritos. Boy were we happy. All of the food was fresh, seemed homemade, and the staff was friendly. The warm chips and the delightful salsa was a great start to our meal. We will definitely stop in again if we are in the area.

Very good huarache with house-made chorizo and potatoes and a goblet of margarita. They also have sopes, tlacoya and all the standard offerings. Good spot in Twin.

Homemade, nothing processed from start to finish. From the warm tortilla chips served with flavorful salsa and the added surprise of refried beans to start. Enchilada sauce not overly salty as is often the way. Delicate corn and flour tortillas, all meats tender, perfectly balanced spicing. Rice is fresh, fluffy -- not orange and reheated with pieces of pepper in as in most Mexican restaurants. The rice here is authentic to Mexico. Delicious. You'll also find some unusual offerings along nontraditional cuisine. Possibly the freshest, most flavorful Mexican food I've had and I live on it. And to find it in Idaho. I cross the country, and will stop in Twin Falls just to eat here again and again.

Jarritos should have lines out the door! We stopped at Jarritos on our way to a golf tournament, with no idea how great this restaurant would be when we walked in the door. from the food to the staff and owner, the entire experience was far above what we expected. We felt we were back in Mexico, with some of the freshest, tastiest Mexican food we've had! We both had the sizzling hot, fajitas - delicious. The owner, Jovita, came out and talked with us and when we commented on how fresh everything was, she said that she prepares all of her menu items fresh, including the fresh salsa and fresh guacamole - and the flavors show her attention to detail. Yolanda, our server, was also excellent at her job! She even suggested a new drink for me to try. I had my doubts when she suggested it, but thought I'd give it a try. If you haven't tried Kolimotxo (Colimocho), give it a try! At Jarritos, they serve this mix of wine and cola (with a little lime) in a tall, icy glass. Very refreshing on a hot day. If you haven't tried Jarritos, stop and enjoy the fantastic food and service before those lines are out the door and down the sidewalk!

Went to Jarritos on the way through on a trip and we were glad to have found this restaurant. Great food with some different twists on the usual fare. Had the chile relleno - stuffed with cheese and shrimp! Home made chips and salsa started things off. We tried to convince the owner to move to our home state, but she wouldn't do it. Too bad for us.

Jarrito's is a clean well run eatery. Not fancy, but good portions and good service. Really likes the Michoacan Enchilada.

I have eaten here twice. The first time I ate it took forever to be waited on. The service was horrible, but the food was okay. I figured they were worth a second visit. The second time, my wife called in a take out order for a torta, a chimichanga and a side order of beans and rice. They told me it would be ready if 15 minutes. I was delayed leaving my house to pick up my order and it was almost 30 minutes after ordering that I arrived to pick up my food. Once again, the same young man who waited on me the first time waited on me again. He went to the kitchen to pick up my order, but when he came back out and rang up my bill, hetold me it would be another 10 minutes before it would be ready. I had to wait 20 minutes before my order was finally ready. At least the young woman who handed me my food was kind enough to apologize for taking so long. The young man who waited on me is obviously uncomfortable working with the public. He would be much better off doing something in the back. Or, if he is going to be working out front, he definitely needs to learn some customer service skills. As it is, he gives you the impression that he couldn't really care less if you ate here again. So, what was supposed to take 15 minutes before I could pick up my order ended up taking 50 minutes! That is a ridiculous wait for a take out order. Then, to make matters worse, I discovered after I got home that they did not even include the beans and rice side order. I called Jarrito's and spoke to a young woman. When I told her I did not get my beans and rice, she did not have enough sense to apologize. Instead, she told me the next time I came in there to order beans and rice and not pay for them. The food here is okay, not spectacular. The torta could use more meat on it. The service is so terribly bad, I will be surprised if they are still open by the end of 2017 unless they make some big changes in how they operate. It has the worst customer service of all the restaurants in town, including the fast food places.
