NO!! I ate here about two years ago and the food was BAD. Tried it again tonight. Should have stayed away. Worst place ever!!! Started with the house salad that looked wilted and had pieces of bad lettuce scattered within. Had chicken fried steak that tasted like oily breading. No meat flavor or texture. This was served with hot tater... More

Joined some friends st Ponderosa for dinner. The highlights of the meal were the draft Alaskan Amber ale and the salad bar which was better than some but needed refreshing. Ordered the "special" 8 oz sirloin which was cooked medium rare properly, and came with a baked potato and tired green beans. The steak was slightly tough and probably grass... More

We just had breakfast here. For myself I highly recommend the Meat Lovers Omlet. Actually we shared it, and they even put the halves on separate plates, half the Omlet, Hash-browns, and toast on each... For us it was enough food, I didn't quite finish my Has-browns........This is a local restaurant for us.

Obviously the cook just does stuff from frozen. You can go to a food show and see everything they serve here is purchased frozen and just warmed up. Sad to pay such prices for this quality of food. Server was totally uninterested the night we were there. Sad excuse for a restaurant

One of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. It comes with everything and its own special sauce and is yummy. Loved it.

The "fish and chips" were from the frozen food isle at the grocery store and the vegetable was canned corn that tasted like water. When the waitress asked how everything was, I was honest and she was so rude that she about snapped my head off! I asked for the check and she just pointed to it on the table... More

The food was fine but nothing earthshattering. The atmosphere was tired. The service though was very good.

This was the second time we have eaten here. First time 17 years ago when once again we stayed in Orifino on our way to Yellowstone. Thankfully the restaurant hasn't changed. It maintains its small town charm. Appears very clean. Wait staff very friendly and you're treated like a regular. Food was delicious. The special was bacon wrapped shrimp with huckleberry... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. My husband ordered the rib eye steak, it came out too rare, but they were accommodating and made it right. The food was average, but the service was great and the price is right!
