Located at platres troodes mountain. Traditional Cypriot tavern. The chicken and the Souvlaki was ok nothing special. The waiter was so polite and nice.

We wanted some grub after walking the artemis trail, but troodos didn’t look particularly inspiring a selection of restaurants so we headed to Platres, which initially looked deserted, but then we found this place which served some excellent food. I had the vine leaves.

We were a party of 9 and just turned up in the afternoon without booking. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful restaurant manager who despite being on his own expecting a quiet afternoon, served us delicious authentic food. Lovely restaurant with great views...More
You have to visit this place, it has great view, air is refreshing here near the mountain, and most important food is very tasty, traditional plates only! Do not forget to try homemade wine! We were hosted as only guests, and I really recommend this...More
As a family of 6, we stopped for lunch while visiting the troodos mountains and the food, service and atmosphere... All excellent! Well worth a visit... you won't be disappointed... Just eat, chat, relax and watch the world go by.
The prices were reasonably moderate for tourist area, but the dishes were huges, there also was a free basket of warm pitta bread and a free big village salad. Meat dishes were tasty and unique for the place. There also was a great mountain view....More
