Although the restaurant has great ambiance, the service and food are so-so. Either there was confusion about who was to service our table or the server was disinterested, but the whole experience seemed confused. We started with the Dungeness Crab Mac and Cheese which was bland. The Caesar salad was average, and the Duck Bolognese (which sounded so interesting) was... More

We had one night in Coeur d'Alene after golfing and selected The Cellar for dinner. We had a table in the front overlooking main street and really enjoyed the setting and the food. Our waiter was the perfect combination of attentive and personable.

Excellent food, great wine selection & self serve wine bar. Service was a little slow but all the servers were very nice. I would definitely come back!

Enjoyed the live blues band in the basement. Nice menu selection and food was simple and well prepared. Most impressive was the opportunity to sample many well chosen wines from economical to premium, in one, three or five ounce pours.

Food was good but the place seemed to be pretentious, Italian restaurants are best when there is that joyful feeling and a zest for life.

Overall a good experience while a little slow. We ordered way to much food as we expected a more Tapas like small servings, but the portions were very generous.

Atmosphere is really nice. Art work was interesting. From the moment the 4 of us entered things went bad. Was before 6pm and no one was waiting. Stood around forever wondering if there was anyone to seat us. Ok got past that. Sat forever before anyone came to take our drink order. Service was bad. To say the food was... More
