Been to both now and both offer the same great experience. Good food, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere. It has always been on the noisy side, but that is just the nature of this place. Our service was great and we'll definitely consider here...More

My wife and I were very pleased with our 8 ounce fillet bacon wrapped steak. Perfectly done. For $20 it was a great steak for a great price. Also had a good selection of craft beers. Excellent menu. Really recommend this restaurant.

Had the fish and chips at the Boise Airport location. The fish was excellent, but the fried batter had an off taste that had to be scraped off to enjoy the fish. The salad was a bizarre layer of unidentifiable veg on a lettuce leaf....More

Good food, service. Drinks were excellent. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and the "vibe" of the area. Well worth it.

Went to Bardenay with 11 friends and relatives while visiting Boise, and had a wonderful experience. It all started on an unfortunate note, when one of our party tripped and fell while walking to the restaurant. Our waiter, John was very kind, and put together...More

We enjoyed the open atmosphere and patio dining. The river was at flood stage and was impressive. We tried the clams and followed with the pork tacos. Nice complimentary flavors. Service was good. We like to be there when the patio is available as it...More

Very good meal, good service, reasonable prices in a neat building. What more do you need? Would have enjoyed having more Basque regional dishes. Would return.

Established in 1999. With three locations in Boise, Eagle and Coeur d'Alene that capture the spirit of Idaho and the Northwest, Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery is a cornerstone of Idaho's restaurant and bar industry. The original establishment is located in a once empty warehouse on the Historic Basque Block in downtown Boise, Idaho. On April 25th, 2000, history was made when we served the first cocktail to included spirits distilled in a restaurant in the US. As the nation's first restaurant distillery, Bardenay has set an industry precedent as the first full service restaurant and bar with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. Our distillers are happy to give tours as time allows. Please ask your server if you are interested in a closer look at our operations. p.s. We are only allowed to sell our fine spirits by the drink. If you would like to purchase a bottle, you may do so at many of our state liquor stores.
