Delightful salmon salad and lovely Sauvignon Blanc wine. Great service as well. I ended up buying a bottle of the wine to take home. Lovely outdoor fountain.

Hands-down, this is 1 of our 2 favorite restaurants in the Boise/Meridian areas of Idaho. It is one of our go to places to take out of town company. They raise their own grass fed cattle for beef products and offer wild caught salmon. Highest quality vegetables, salads, delicious desserts, and excellent beer and wine choices are all offered at... After a movie downtown Boise we opted for a light fare closer to home. Therefore the 36th street Bistro was ideally located. Although it's hidden in the back of a garden shop it's worth it to look for it. The restaurant is very modern, yet it has lovely art nouveau lights and even though the ceiling is very high, the... I enjoyed a Sunday brunch with my friend last week. We visited at about noon and got a high top table. It was full and we didn't have reservations so we were lucky to get right in. I enjoyed a traditional eggs benedict with a nice green salad. My friend had the special dirty rice with eggs and chorizo. We... More

We loved the ambience of the bistro, it was relaxing and full of light. The food was really good, especially the golden beet soup. The club sandwich was delish along with the stuffed French toast and chicken sandwich. Our waitress was nice but not on top of water and coffee fills. We also waited quite awhile for our food. But,... More

The food and the service were excellent. reat burgers sandwiches and salads. Citrus vinagareet salad dressing alone was worth going there for!

We came here recently with friends and enjoyed the experience. The dining room is very quiet so you can carry on a conversation. The waiter was very attentive and the food was very good. 36th Street Bistro has a limited menu, but what it has is well done and it has a decent wine list. I had the wild Sockeye... More

We have been coming here periodically over the years and it is a local favorite. Starting with traipsing through a very cool garden and housewares shop, the dining area is airy and spacious with lots of natural light. The menu though limited has only delicious sounding entry's and they usually are. Today I had wonderful pumpkin bisque and pork tacos... More

I had brunch here with a few other ladies. It was a gorgeous day, so we opted for patio seating. The patio is very nice, and the service isn't lacking at all like it sometimes is when you're seated outside. The food selection is great! Our meals came out quickly and looked lovely. I had the eggs benedict and it... More

Our first experience was after a long day's drive, and the road was not agreeing with me. the staff was helpful in suggesting a salad that was not only light and filling, but delicious: the salmon salad (with cashews, btw!), followed by a shared blueberry bread pudding. Our view faced the plaza/courtyard but the plants & fountain make it feel... More
