I live in Waynesboro and we may be a small town but you'd never know from Camino Real. Walk in from the parking lot in the rear to admire the flowers and foliage in the courtyard. When you enter you will be greeted by the courteous and efficient staff. The decor is lovely and the food is great!

Camino Real is in a pretty neat historic building. It looks great from the outside. I usually judge a good Mexican restaurant by it's house margarita and salsa. That was not a good start for this establishment. When a margarita is served bright green because it's made with a cheap and lousy mix, that's a bad sign. I ordered the... More

I was on a motorcycle trip with a buddy and we passed through Waynesboro looking for lunch! The Texas Margarita was excellent; the food was tasty, ample and reasonably priced; and the service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone!

I went to visit my husband who is working in Waynesboro, he loves Mexican food and wanted to try this restaurant. We went on a Saturday it was rather quiet. The food was ok and the service was good. Well the day I left my husband wanted to go back because he loves the shrimp cocktail (pictured). This trip was... More

We go here at least once a week. The service is great, except a little slower on Sunday after church, when it is packed with folks. Food is great and so is the price. We highly recommend

Good, friendly service. Very good Texas Margharitta, made with a noticable amount of Cuervo tejila and Grand Marnier. Chips were crisp and salsa falvorful. Chicken fajita as tasty, but about average. They have mole chicken which is unusual for normal mexican restaurants, something I'll have to try down the road. Located right downtown with a pleasant interior.

This place is good to go. If you are interested in decent Mexican food, at a decent price, with super fast service, this is the place for you. Looking forward to my next trip next year.

I was a guest at Wisteria Hall and asked the proprietors for a dinner recommendation. They suggested Camino Real. It was only a walk of a few blocks. Service was immediate! The chips and salsa were great. I chose the chimichanga mixta (one chicken, one beef) as my entrée. It was delicious!!
