We have gone for years to Red Barn Café. We made hotel reservations as we are 3 hours away JUST to eat here and took 2 friends who had never been. Knowing the excellent food/wine and popularity we even made reservations 2 months ahead. SUCH an embarrassment! Menu was only 6 items, all were AWFUL. We pad $27 for a... More

Our family enjoyed a movie-scene-perfect event at this special little place. From the breathtaking scenery to the amazing custom vegetarian menu to the personalized special touches from the fantastic team at the vineyard, this evening was one amazing memory after the next. Of special note: the vineyards wines are particularly good. If you've got a bad taste in your mouth... More

Had lunch at this beautiful spot, the menu, while limited, is lovely. We had the cheese & meat board, very good and the Trout Tartare. Wine list is nice, with wines not limited to the Tiger Mountain Winery. Worth the drive from Atlanta!

My wife and I drive the hour and a half up here at least once a month for no other reason than to have a glass of wine and a dessert while enjoying the beauty of the vineyard behind. Great staff, great food, great wine.

Lisa's attention to detail, combined with an excellent wine list of their offerings assures visitors an awesome experience. Did I mention the view? Spectacular setting in the mountains of North Georgia.

We have enjoyed many wonderful meals here in the past. However last night was very different. The ambiance and service was great as usual, but that is where it ended. The menu was the most limited I have ever seen. The fish selection was served cold by plan. I ended up with 3 potatoes and 2 slices of mushrooms. Fresh... More

After many enjoyable trips to this unique place, our last visit was terribly disappointing. The menu was very limited, consisting on appetizers or small plates only. We felt like the wine was being heavily pushed and we were pressured to order multiple expensive, yet tasty appetizers. Frankly, we will not return until we learn that meals are once again being... Four of us just finished dinner here and it is BY FAR the best food I have eaten in Rabun County; and we have been coming to Clayton GA for 20 years. There is a new chef (David Sweeney) cooking on Friday & Saturday night and weekend lunch/brunch & 90% of the menu is from local farms. Every item we... More

We ate here Sunday after church, but we got there at around 11:15 AM and beat the usual after-church crowd. We did not have a reservation, but they took us anyway. We ate out back on the porch. It was overcast and a lot cooler than the day before. We didn't want anything heavy, so we both order the trout/horseradish... More

Stopped by this past weekend. While not very hungry, I had their grain bowl and my wife had a fruit and prosciutto plate, and we also had some of their wine. All the food was very good and the wine was quite pleasant as well. The owner was lovely to chat with and we enjoyed our stop. We purchased a... More
