I walk here weekly, with 38 degree temperatures yesterday morning, I did a 3 mile walk around the mountain. (1 1/2 out and 1 1/2 miles back) I always start at the bottom of the mountain walk up. The parking was very good yesterday. Usually it very crowded, but I guess the cool temp. kept people away.

The view from the top of Stone Mountain is one everyone should see. The ride was about a minute and a half and the view was breath taking. To walk on the rock is not for everyone. The service is very uneven, but you can still see some of the view from the building on the top. If you are... More

we hiked to the top of Stone Mountain , it took about an hour but was not that hard. We are in our 70's and in good health so that should give you a clue of the difficulty, once you got up there you had a great view of the city of Atlanta etc.

This place is just magical. It is so pretty here. The mountain itself is awesome and all the trails and hiking paths just add to it's charm.

It is a very nice park for walking and bicycling. The museums and historical exhibits are not of the quality that I expected. There are also shops and play areas for children which many find entertaining. Personally, I didn't care for the amusement park feel of that area, but there are many other parts of the park that I was... More

Great Laser Show: go to the expense - splurge and get the terrace seating, you will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, a terrace seat for the show, unlimited popcorn, coke products, and a laser toy, a great deal!

Visited this attraction today, Paid the entrance fee and to my surprise NO food or drinks available All the events / attractions were closed. Lots of other people who had travelled a long way were equally dissatisfied. Temperatures in the 80's today and no drinks, great for visitors! The staff who were available were less than helpful or apologetic for... More

We went for the Snow Mountain event in January. Ok.... so the ads lead you to believe you'll enter a huge winter wonderland for "Snow Mountain". Not quite. But, the kids had fun snow tubing and Really enjoyed the hike down Stone Mountain. The actual snow area was pretty much a bust. Yes they create snow, but then they run... More

I had a great time there, so many attractions and worth while as the admission rate was much cheaper than other attractions I have visited. There where so may rides and games to play. You need more than one day to visit. You must stay for the Laser light show on a Saturday night. I liked that we could pack... More
