We went with friends to Zafron. It was our first time. The decor is very nice & very comfortable. They do not pack the tables in & make it crowded. The noise level on this crowded night was very comfortable. The food was superb. My wife & I each had the Rhubarb Lamb Shank. It was delicious served with a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on a week night in Sandy Springs. Our tasty appetizer of kashk bademjoon was beautifully presented with warm, light pita wedges and the traditional condiments plate of mint, basil, olives, feta, and herbs. The presentation of the lamb shank and lamb kabob entrees was impressive. Both dishes were generous portions well prepared, with a container... More

I usually like Persian food but I was very disappointed in this one. I found the kabobs dry and not tasty. We were a large group and were not well taken care of. The wait staff were not helpful and seemed quite bored with what they were doing. Trying to get information from them was almost impossible.

Each one of us enjoyed our meal, chicken barg, lamb and tenderloin kabob. The service was a little slow, but a minor inconvenience considering the overall evening.

Zafron or Rumi's Kitchen? Had lunch recently at Zafron restaurant for the first time in Sandy Springs. Had been to Rumi's many times over the years and wondered how this would compare. First, it was nice to have a quiet comfortable booth to visit with friends. At Rumis, it is generally very noisy and at night, very unpleasant due to... More

To be clear, I went once, for a late lunch....so my experience there is limited. Food was very good...insanely fresh and legitimately Mediterranean menu. One of the entrees just took far longer to hit the table than it should. Beautiful, very hip interior decor...great vibe. Prices were good. It's very similar to Rumi's (also great Sandy Springs Mediterranean), but it's... More

Word round town is this is the best Persian food on this side of the Mississippi. This was my first Persian dining experience & it was so good, we ate here back to back. I completely understand why. The have a wide array of options, even for vegetarians or those with a sweet tooth. I was eating things that were... More

Wow! Just Wow. My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Zafron's tonight. The space is lovely and the instrumental Persian music was relaxing and provided the perfect touch. The complimentary naan and plate of fresh herbs, feta cheese, olives and nuts was an awesome beginning. We shared the stuffed cabbage leaves appetizer 2 @$7.00, which was delicious. My... More

The fabulous Suttle flavors of persia done well. The stuffed Cabbage, lamb kabobs were really good. The opening plate of cheese and olives is so refreshing.
