Want a breakfast place that offers a family feel, a welcome as soon as you walk in the door, coffee refills and table cleanup by Palmer himself, and a fantastic breakfast to boot from an extensive list of original choices.... this is the place you want to be. Our group of four each ordered a different breakfast entree....the usual bacon... More

Went for breakfast and had two delicious omelettes. Definitely try the chicken pot pie omelette - server recommendations were spot on! Didn't realize they did a great dinner until asking for suggestions for places and we were given their dinner menu. Since breakfast was so good, decided to return for dinner. They did not disappoint! Service was more than excellent... More

Been eating here since 193, and it just gets better with time! They have some unusual dishes from time to time that are fun to try. Never had a bad meal, and the owners are almost always there and checking on the customers!

Knowing the popularity of this café, I was afraid the wait on a late Saturday morning would be quite long but it wasn't too bad. We were ushered to the back room which was not as packed as the main room...lots of great artwork on the walls (but a little put off by the vacuum in sight of our table).... More

A very average setting with very average food. Staff is friendly, but other than that, I don't understand the great rating.

My son lives in nearby Brunswick (we are from Bucks County Pa) and every time we come to visit we make breakfast at Palmer's a must do event. I love trying different breakfast places in my trips around the country and Palmer's rates as one of (if not my favorite) places to eat. The atmosphere is quaint and homey and... More

My husband and I visited while on vacation. The food was very good and the service was even better. We came in for breakfast and both enjoyed!

I had only one dish. Among the three most popular luncheon items, according to my server, was Shrimp and Grits (others cited were the chicken salad and the Reuben). The Shrimp and Grits lacked character and was not very hot. Also a modest serving for $15 and modestly-sized shrimp. Came away wondering what other reviewers got so excited about. Friendly,... More

This place comes by its ratings by serving interesting, yummy food accompanied by a good wine/beer list and excellent wait staff. Fish tacos, were luscious.
