This is a stop where you see lots of local folks eating and you say they can't be wrong. The food is served cafeteria style and is good. I think the sides should be kept warmer or maybe I was just there at the wrong time. I was a little late (1:30 pm) so that might have been the problem.... More

Plenty of vegetables to choose from, four meat entrees, and pies and cake. My favorite is pecan pie.

We came here with a group of 8 people. The food was very good and was traditional "home cooking". The pie for dessert was a hit for everyone who had it. The parking is somewhat difficult and the could use a larger parking lot. It was extremely busy and appeared to be very popular with the locals.

Stopped by the Oil Lamp with a group while visiting in Perry. All the meals were just like home cooking. Meat loaf, catfish chicken and roast beef are all excellent. Vegetables, deserts and salad bar are all very nice.,

My daughters and I ate here and it was wonderful! I had roast, mac and cheese, Lima beans and cornbread! Both of my girls had veggie plates. They loved theirs too! The pies are great too! It was crowded but the line moved fast!

On a stopover on our way home we tried this restaurant (unfortunately they were closed on our trip south). As soon as we walked in someone explained that they are cafeteria style and directed us to the line. You can easily get takeout here but we opted to eat in. My husband had the hamburger meatball in mushroom gravy and... More

I visited this restaurant for lunch in January. This is a buffet style restaurant that offers american cusine with a down home flare. A lot of locals eat here and that says a lot ! Comfort food , not quite home cooked , but better than average. I felt at home while eating here, and the food was good ........ More
