I love this place! I have tried a total of 5 different Indian restaurants around Georgia and in other states, and Masala Cottage is the best ! I am new to being vegan, so our options are limited. But as you know other cultures do not include meat in every meal. So anywho, one day I tried their Chana Masala & fell in love.. I also order the chicken tikka Masala for my husband and vegetable Samosa. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS DELICIOUS & CONSISTENT. I eat here at least once every 2 weeks..

We are fans of Indian food, so we've been to a lot of Indian restaurants. This one totally knocked us out! We paid $12 for an all-you-can-eat DINNER buffet and the food was absolutely wonderful. So delicious, complex, subtle flavors. The naan was amazing; soft, warm, doughy on the inside and crispy, linty crusty not he outside. And the staff was super friendly and attentive. I can't imagine why this place doesn't have a line going out the door! Do yourself a favor and come for the lunch or dinner buffet. You'll love it!

My husband and I were a little skeptical entering this restaurant due to the exterior decor and location but due to the reviews, we decided to give it a try. The interior was not very impressive and could use some updating but we were there for the food and not necessarily the decor so we stayed.
We sat down and our server came right up to us. We asked about vegetarian options on the buffet as we really couldn't identify what veggie dishes were on there. We were surprised to find out that more than half were vegetarian and the buffet was extremely inexpensive.
We had 2 dishes of veggie dishes and mine was extremely good. We also ordered a dish of garlic Naan. Delicious and plentiful. Our server and another lady (possibly the owner) came over numerous times to point out veggie dishes on the menu ensuring that we were well taken care of. There was even a veggie dessert which we didn't have because we were so stuffed.
Overall I enjoyed my meal and the customer service immensely. I would have rated the place a 5 star, but my husband didn't think as highly of it so we compromised on the rating. I wish there was a 4 1/2 star as that is what I would have given it. I would certainly go back.

It was my first visit on 16th June , I’ll say it’s fraud website price is low and physically when you visit price goes up, food quality is bad , what I had last night I can say that was frozen food reheated and Nan wasn’t fresh, kind of smells and weird taste, I never heard that restaurant don’t serve water, if you want you have too buy, everything was served in disposable plates. Pathetic service no smiles no welcome. Everything is zero I never recommend any one to waste their money, Price difference, quality of food is bad, pay for water, and frozen food reheated total count zero🙃😔😔🙃

Stopped in this restaurant while traveling through town. The food was excellent! The staff was very friendly and knowledge.
If you are in this area and enjoy Indian food I highly recommend it.

I had to stop by masala cottage in McDonough Ga as was travelling to Macon,buffet was fresh with a lots of variety,fresh naan was served and order a peach martini was excellent ,next time will stop by Family ,when on way to florida .I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian Cuisine .

I must agree with the other reviewers. In a million years, I wouldn’t imagine the building was an Indian restaurant. The food was really good! You can’t beat an authentic and delicious Indian buffet for $10 dollars. Hot food, good service and the aromatics are AMAZING! Thank you for making us feel at home!

There are all kinds of reasons to drive by this place. From the street it looks rundown. But you will be missing a very good, very authentic Indian meal. Excellent food. Good service. Not what I excepted when I drove by. Buffet items vary by the day apparently, but we sampled nearly everything and found nothing to be wanting.

Husband and I done there today. Food hot and very delicious. Very authentic Indian food. Buffet and set price at $10.00 per person. Also has menu to order from.
Kept table cleaned and glass full. Very thoughtful staff.
