AJ's is a small friendly restaurant serving very good Louisiana couisine. The menu is not very large but the basics are covered and the price is very good. If you like cajun food it's highly recommended.

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant with tasty Cajun style seafood, po'boys and other gulf style items. They have a salad with shrimp I like a lot, and I enjoy the oysters on the half shell too. The service is always friendly. It's kind...More

This place has a lot of charm and good food for a small strip center joint. Staff is friendly and attentive. I've been dining here for about five years and I'll be back again...

We drive about 45 minutes to get to this restaurant. It's tucked away in a Kroger Shopping Center but once you know it's there it's easy to find. It can get fairly crowded during lunch rush - we have not been there during dinner time....More
AJ's was a disappointment. I had dined here in the past and enjoyed it. I ordered a large seafood gumbo. The gumbo was spicy, but not the good kind of spicy, created by a blend of fine seafood, vegetables, and rice. Instead the gumbo tasted...More
Was looking for something a little different to buy my sister dinner for keeping my kids for a few days. We met there at 5pm on a Friday, tables were available. My sister and I can vouch for the fried shrimp platter and they do...More
Love this place! Being from New Orleans, this is the only local restaurant I have been able to find that serves authentic Po Boy's on REAL French bread (yes there is a difference and it's huge). Their red beans & rice, jambalaya, gumbo, alligator and...More
