We attended a rehearsal dinner at The Smith House on a Thursday evening. We have visited Dahlonega many times but had never eaten here. What a treat! Their food is the real southern thing! We passed around heaping bowls and platters of food - ham,...More

The servers are so friendly and keep bringing out the food until you are stuffed. Collards, chicken and corn with real lemonade were particularly excellent. The pot roast and mashed potatoes were also delicious, and the price is very reasonable. We were staying in the...More

Two couples ust on a Saturday drive. The meal was served family style. Ample servings in each bowl for four. Three meats, seven vegatables, bread, and desert choice of strawberry shortcake or bannana pudding.

We stayed at The Smith House so it was an easy choice to visit their restaurant. A great variety to sample, and the friendly staff brought plenty of everything to eat. A must visit.

Everybody's got to eat here at least once. And don't get me wrong it's decent I just didn't think that it was worth the price, or anything memorable.

It has been approximately 20 years since my last visit to the Smith House. The Smith House along with the Dillard House need to come up with something new. With all the restaurants serving buffets throughout the day, you can get a nutritional meal along...More

No, there is not a pool. I wouldn't call the Smith House a resort. It is part of the history of Dahlonega. Located right off the downtown square.

Famous for our all-you-can eat family style meals. Country vegetable and fried chicken is everyone's favorite. Stay in our historic inn and visit our historic town square of Dahlonega where the first Gold Rush was located. The Smith House is locked one block from the square.
