We stayed a couple days when white water rafting the Chatooga river. The Garden Cabin was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens, pillows and towels. Unfortunately, we found the bed and pillows quite hard and the floors very squeaky. We...More

Unexpected gem in this part of the state, where you expect franchises and BBQ. The owners are helpful without being obtrusive. The food was top quality. And the setting was such that you could hear your dinner companions. Look forward to going back......

We stayed at the Beechwood and had their fabulous Saturday night dining experience. A 5-course meal paired with wine with mostly local ingredients. David came out between courses to talk about the dishes and the ingredients used in the dishes, which made the meal more...More

Six of us dined here on a recent Saturday evening and I'm sorry to say it fell a little short of expectations. The food was a mixed bag -- a couple of courses were very good and a couple were just average. The service was...More

Food was terrific. Thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday night dinner. The food was fresh, well prepared and paired beautifully with the wines. We also enjoyed the education by our Innkeeper/chef on the five course meal most of which was picked and prepared that day. Special mention...More

The pairings were excellent, as was the quality of food. This experience could be enjoyed by those versed in food & wine or for those just seeking an amazing dinner.

Dining Every Saturday Night: We are authentically Farm to Table, growing much of our produce with caring attention. We are as local as local gets and of the season to the moment. Beechwood Inn offers fine dining in the North Georgia Mountains almost every Saturday featuring Chef's Tasting Dinners paired to fine wines. Each menu is pre-selected by our chefs based on what is seasonal and available that day. Most of our seasonal foods are organic and natural, many from sustainable North Georgia farms, orchards, dairies and vineyards. Reservations are needed. The Inn features Northeast Georgia's only Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list.
