Tasty food

Had dinner there this evening. Quite a few people sitting with masks on, waiting for pick-up orders. We had to wait a few minutes for the lady at the register to take our order to finish talking to a delivery man. The menu is on an electric board that constantly changes. There is also a laminated menu attached to the counter. We ordered the creole fish with shrimp with a side of yuca and black beans, the 1/2 lb fish platter with white rice and black beans, and our grandson had a grilled chicken breast with French fries. The fish was lightly breaded, large piece and tasty. The grilled chicken sandwich was an entire breast on a large bun with tomato, lettuce and red onion. We brought half of it home as it was a huge portion for our little guy. We enjoyed the flavor, the price and would visit again if we're back to the area.

Tasty peruvian food

The place is convenient to taste the real peruvian food. They also serve a mix of chinese and peruvian style which is very famous in Peru as well.

Going DOWN Hill

We used to visit very often. The manner and attitude when you order in person or over the phone is unpleasant. Even the managers are rude and arrogant. Even thought their food is good, We now prefer to travel 10 miles east - La Brasa, Plantation

Delicious Latin American food

Intimidating Interesting Good Food

Came to La Granja in Weston Florida on a whim while we were on vacation. It was a little intimidating because it appeared everyone only spoke Spanish. Cute place-nothing special but clean. The cashier was not very friendly but I wondered if it was due to the language barrier. She seemed uncomfortable taking our order. It was awkward and intimidating especially since the wall menu board was continuously changing/rotating. A scattering of paper menus only represented a fraction of their offerings. People seemed to know we were not Hispanic/locals and stared at us but that didn’t last long. Now the food was GOOD-VERY GOOD! The chopped onion accompaniments (located in a refrigerated trolley) were excellent and really enhanced the flavor of my chicken super bowl. The chicken bowl was so pleasantly seasoned I needed to make myself stop eating. I will definitely revisit.

going, going, gone.

I hadn't been to this place for at least 2 years so I went there for dinner. I was average then and it's terrible now. The place seems like it was put together in haste, terrible decoration, terrible layout. Service is terrible.First the young lady taking the order had this "I hate being here" attitude. She literally ignored my requests and the other lady calling out the orders had to take all three orders back to the kitchen for correction. Then there was the food: TERRIBLE. The beans were old, stale. The fried yuca? may as well chew cardboard. The sauce station was disgusting, with lids inside the sauce. How can the ownership let a business go down hill? Never get it. Needless to say, I'm not returning to this place. It's embarrassing.

A non pretentious place for latin fare

Food in La Granja is influenced by Peruvian (mainly), and other latin places food. Dishes are big, and normally they're enough to share with somebody else. Prices are affordable, and there are so many options to explore.

After refusing to visit this restaurant for over a year due to bad experiences I figured I would give it a shot.My co-workers said no way. I should have listened. The employees are worse than before. The cashier never acknowledge me, just stood there. Never said thank you and never looked at me and was clearly rude to others as well. The store was dirty and the employees rude and not attentive. A lady was upset because her tray was filthy. I am Hispanic and I am embarrassed to say they treat non-Hispanics really bad. I ready the restaurant inspection reports I WILL NEVER RETURN. How does this company let this happen. Pembroke Pines west is even worse.

The chicken was very tasty and reasonably priced. The male cashier is rude as if he was doing us a favor to take our money. the extra room opened next door smells terrible every time we sit there, last visit a couple walked out

Worms/larvae cooked with the beans

We order food to go, including chicken, rice,fries and beans. When we were serving the beans we discovered lots of worms or larvae in there. We went back to show them the disgusting worms and they just said that those things were parts of the beans and didn't even feel bad about it. The place and the food are not clean in general. I never went back after the incident.

After 25 minutes waiting for food, a roach was found in my drink and on the tray. When it was mentioned to the manager, he was like and what would you like me to do. Check everthing and the floor if you are brave enough to visit.
