We had two delightful dinners at Lucille's while on vacation in Weston this week. Lucille's is a delightful small cafe with dark wood paneling, black and white tile floors and outdoor eating with 50s and 60s music. It's a cozy place with nightly specials as well as half price wine on Monday and Tuesday and half price beer on Wednesday and Thursday. All surfaces were cleaned with a spray accompanied by a UV light. Service was excellent and the manager makes his rounds while you are dining, checking on service and food quality. We enjoyed fish and chips, sirloin, a gourmet burger ($5.00 on Monday burger nights), potato skins with Applewood bacon and best of all, their bread pudding with ice cream and bourbon sauce. After dinner you are presented with mini cupcakes in a take home bag...very nice touch! Definitely recommend!

The server noted the secret ingredient to the soup was bacon ground up into a powder which gave the soup an out of this world flavor. I had chicken Philly sandwich which is a hybrid between Philly Cheese Steak and an awesome chicken sandwich. Can't explain any better other than it was very good. It happens to be the Wednesday special. She had the soup/sandwich special which she chose turkey sandwich and Tomato Bleu soup. We found this place a couple of years ago on vacation and we go back every time we come. Just a great first choice.

We visited late on a Saturday evening after traveling all day. The wait staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our server checked in constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. The daily special of white bean soup was a good size, plenty to share. For dinner we had the chicken parm special which was 2 breaded pieces of chicken on penne with tomato sauce. Tasted great and plenty to share or have for leftovers. We also ordered the pulled pork platter with red skin potatoes and cole slaw. The pork was piled high on the plate, looked like about a pound of meat that must have been put on the plate with a large cylinder! The potatoes were fresh/home made and the slaw was just the right amount of tangy, not too vinegary. Our grandson had the kids buttered noodles and ate the entire bowl which was also a large portion. He had an Oreo sundae for dessert which we helped eat along with our piece of blueberry pie ala mode that was the pie of the day. Everything was very tasty and a good value for the amount of food we received. We will visit again in the future if we are back in the area.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, if not the best. The service was exceptional and without a doubt the best customer service I have ever received. The restaurant employees and owners worked as a team. Hostess was extremely polite and friendly. Our waiter was nice, worked hard, checked in often, and made recommendations. The staff makes a point to get to know you and find out if it’s your first dining experience there. They clearly strive to make an amazing first impression for newcomers with their good service and even better food. Monday night is $5 burger night and the burgers are amazing and big! It does not include fries which you can still get on side... however I highly recommend the onion ring and sweet potato stick appetizers instead because WOW... and some fantastic sauces come with it! Then as if everything wasn’t already perfect... we tried the banana cream pudding and it was to die for. The restaurant vibes are 50’s diner themed with a killer oldies music playlist. We enjoyed every song. We are only in town visiting for the week but we plan to go there once more before leaving the area! Thank you Lucilles!!

We have been going to Loucille's for years for their delicious home cooked style meals and have never been disappointed. Their staff is always very nice and are a joy to talk with. They take the few extra minutes to make you feel like you are happy and appreciated. The restaurant itself is very clean and its lots of fun to see all of the pictures that take you down memory lane.

We went to Lucille's today for my husband and son's birthday. Everything we had was AWESOME. Our waiter Elliott was excellent and very attentive. I had the James' Hangover sandwich and I think it was the hit of the table. My son had the Angus burger and said it was the best restaurant burger he has had in a long time. Daughter in law had the 1/2 roasted chicken and it was very moist and juicy. Hubby enjoyed the patty melt. For dessert we had probably the best blueberry pie I've ever tasted. The brownie sundae was my son's favorite. We will definitely be back during our week here. Staff followed Covid protocols and we felt very safe. Nice outdoor dining area that we will try next time. You will love it!!

The portions are much bigger than anticipated. Your $ is well worth spent here. The food was delicious! I’m picky about my sweet potato fried NOT being wilted when picking them up. These were crispy and so yummy! I had the club sandwich with sweet potato fries, my friend had the pot pie (she said it was very good), and my husband had a burger with fries (he also enjoyed it). I would definitely go back here! It was a 50’s type diner feel with a great atmosphere! Daniela was our server and she was very friendly and kept up with my husband’s Diet Coke refills.

Fantastic menu and awesome tasting food. Very reasonably priced with great desserts too. Never disappointed with food, service and atmosphere. Inside and outside dining with emphasis on cleanliness and distancing. Highly recommend to anyone for a wide array of American food menu and specialty fare. Specialty on Monday, a 10 ounce cheeseburger for $5. Incredible huge burger with , lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions. So good!

When I saw Macadamia Crusted French Toast described as, "Sweet macadamia crust on thick brioche topped with Florida orange glaze", I looked no further because it sounded so wonderful. Admittedly, I am a tough marker, however, typically, French toast needs to be soaked long enough that the inside of the bread has absorbed the egg mixture. The bread was dry in the middle. The 'macadamia crust' was some macadamia nuts mixed with crushed cereal and the 'Florida orange glaze' was clearly marmalade from a jar. Misleading meal descriptions are something I just can't abide. Don't treat your guests like they are stupid and know nothing about food or think they won't notice the difference between store bought marmalade and an orange glaze. When you ask the server, 'what type of hot tea do you have' and the answer is, 'I don't know, it's in a yellow package', that should have been our first clue this wasn't going to be a great experience. My husband ordered simple scrambled eggs, bacon and home fries with rye toast. 'Crispy bacon' means rock hard, home fries are frozen and the toast is 'buttered' with something that resembles butter but is another money saving tool similar to buying a jar of marmalade instead of making an orange glaze. Again, I'm a tough marker but I'm no Chef Ramsey. I can only imagine what he would have to say about Lucille's.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Lucille’s American Café. The service was excellent. We had a chance to talk to the owner who is very gracious. I had pan fried chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli with a sweet creamy sauce. My wife had the blackened shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. If you’re in the Weston area, I would highly recommend Lucille‘s American Café. We finished our meal off with the carrot cake, which is homemade and absolutely delightful.

Entering Lucille's will take one back to the past. The decor is great and one will enjoy the 50s music. Diners usually have good food and Lucille's did not disappoint. It was more like home-cooking than most restaurants. It has a fun atmosphere and the servers are friendly. The sandwiches were good and generous. The tomato basil soup was simply delicious!

Loved the 50/60s music. The inside was a little loud so we chose the covered patio. Nice view of the lake. You can feed the fish, (not the birds). There was three adults and two children. Meals were all good, I had the tuna melt on white bread. The sliced bread was small but there was lots of tuna so I needed a fork. My friend had the pork chops and said they were good. Enjoyed the atmosphere and music the most.

A throw back to the great diners of the day Lucille’s is the best. From decor to their diner menu it hits the mark. The potato soup is terrific, great flavour, combined with half a club and you have a great lunch that doesn’t leave you hungry. Three cheese baked Mac and cheese is another diner hit.

A fiend and I wanted to try somewhere new for lunch and this place had been recommended to her. So, we met there and sat outside while the whether was not too hot. We are so glad that we did because the next day COVID-19 restrictions went up and restaurants were closed. The staff was so nice and our waitor was quite attentive. Outside dining is right next to a lake with no crossing foot traffic. Large menu selection and the crispy chiocken salad was excellent and filling. We will definitely go back when everything re-opens. Hopefully, this will be one of the surviving businesses becasue it will be sad if it is not.

During the week, we ate there 5 times -- two dinner, two lunch and one snack and dessert. Everything we ate there was above average. Sunday night pot roast was excellent. Serving staff was friendly and efficient. They remembered us and greeted us like old friends.
