The BEST Mexican Restaurant in Brevard County, hands down. I have been eating here with my family for many years now and the food has never disappointed. The food is always made with fresh ingredients, and to order as well. The service is always kind...and welcoming, and they are very attentive to all the tables. I have been coming here with my family since they opened, and we have never had a bad experience. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have great and authentic Mexican food and great service.More

Tequila Accent, 2725 Minton Rd., West Melbourne, FL 32904 4- Stars Wow. What is it with my random name generator these days? First, it was spewing forth a plethora of Thai/Sushi places, now it seemed to be on a South of the Border run as...yet another Mexican-named restaurant was gleaming up at me. In this case, it was Tequila Accent in West “by Gawd” Melbourne. Not that it is a factor in the rating or even a BBDO category, but I have to say if it was, this place would be a top entrant for 1Q worst sign. As I mentioned before, I am hard-pressed to find anyone from Mexico working in a Mexican restaurant here in Brevard and this place appears to be keeping up with the zeitgeist in not employing any either. Upon asking, my waiter, Ricky, told me that everyone was from Venezuela. There are no Mexicans involved in this Tex-Mex fare. I asked Ricky for one Deluxe Burrito with Pork and an order of Mexican Mole Chicken (after my first experience with Mole, how could I pass up the opportunity?). Relaxing and peeping around while awaiting Ricky's return, I noticed the place was clean, well-spaced and gave off a very welcoming atmosphere. Before too long (I do time these things) Ricky reappeared with our order and after snapping the obligatory food pics, I eagerly dug in. First up on the Big Boy's persnickety palate was the Deluxe Burrito. The Deluxe Burrito was stuffed with pork, refried beans, rice, sour cream, guacamole, Pico de Gallo, cheese and lettuce. This was served “wet.” That means it was then slathered in sauce and cheese. While I don't think any of the ingredients were top-shelf, they were fresh, prepared to order and executed with aplomb. I found it to be delicious on the palate. Next up was the Mexican Mole Chicken. As I recently discovered authentic mole sauce (sue me for being late to the party) I was really looking forward to this dish and I was not disappointed. This was exquisite on the palate and the chicken was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Remember readers, if it “falls off the bone” it is extremely overcooked. As with the Deluxe Burrito, I doubt any of these ingredients were top-shelf, but BBDO has never been about that. BBDO has always been about execution and this place has that down cold. Well done! The Big Boy says, “If you're looking for a new Tex-Mex place to dine, you can't go wrong by giving Tequila Accent a try! Vamos!”More

Dropped in with the girlfriend to meet some friends for taco Tuesday. We went straight to the patio, avoiding any inside covid concerns and had a server pretty quickly. The drink menu is very tequila based but they were happy to bring my girl her...vodka and cranberry. Our friends split some 2 for 1 margaritas. The menu doesn't have any gluten free info, but the server was able to confirm for us that the chips were safe. Caution the medium salsa is pretty spicy! Yummy. I got the tacos, 3 with chicken. They came with rice and refried beans. More than enough to bring home leftovers. My girl got the fajitas with corn tortillas and enjoyed them. We did use gluten ease before dining and had no after effects. I'm betting we'll be backMore

House margarita is $10 and served in a Mason jar. Tortilla chips do not have salt and salsa was thin and very mild. Fresh guacamole was good , my preference is for it to be made at the table to customize it. 3 meat Fajitas...( chicken steak and shrimp) was good but came with only 3 small tortillas. All food was served very hot and fresh Service was good and the restaurant had plenty of staff waiting at the bar for more customersMore

Our family ordered takeout dinner on July 8. We were given a time of 4:23 in the afternoon to pick it up I got there and it wasn’t ready and they had to put the order in because they have not seen it online. My...visit with the waitresses and bartenders was very pleasant and I totally enjoyed their company. My meals was finally ready to go at 4:45. When we got home and opened it which is less than five minutes from the restaurant, the food was not warm the chicken on the chicken loaded tacos was dry the portion was small the quesadillas were dry and not up to their normal standard. However, my husband‘s burrito was fantastic.Comments I left on Facebook and Instagram or not answered. Last time visiting there.More

We got take out from this restaurant. My wife was satisfied with her meal but I was not. I ordered chili rellenos and they were not prepared properly. The peppers were not battered and fried as normal. It was very disappointing.

If I could award 0 stars, I would! My wife and I decided to check out this fairly new restaurant last night. Because of Covid-19 issues and the fact that we are in our mid-60’s with underlying health issues, we called the restaurant in advance...and asked them if they socially distanced their booths, and if they required all employees to wear face coverings. They said yes to both. So when we arrived, we quickly saw that there was no social distancing of customers, but we cut them some slack on that because their seat backs we very tall. We ordered our drinks and quest dip and chips as an appetizer. As soon as it came out, we noticed that the bartender and two servers were not wearing face coverings. Two more staff came out of the kitchen onto the dining area floor without masks. My wife and I quarantined ourselves on March 11 for protection of our health and lives. We just got to the point where we are venturing out. Once we saw the maskless staff, we told our server that we had called in advance to make sure we were going to be safe in their establishment, and then since we didn’t feel safe we wanted the rest of our appetizer to go and to get chips to go so we could finish our appetizer at home. We also asked to speak with the manager and she said he wasn’t there. Our server brought over our check and we noticed that after she came back out of the kitchen, all but one of the maskless staff were wearing masks. It didn’t take but minutes for three of them to remove their masks. In looking at our check, I found that we had been charged for extra chips. I explained that we didn’t order extra chips, but rather chips that we could take home to finish our dip, and that we shouldn’t be charged for them. She went over to a guy named Reynaldo and told him the issue. He came over to us and said we had to pay for them. I told him our concern about his staff running around without masks (he had his pulled down under his nose). He told me I should be wearing mine (which I removed when the dip came) if I was so concerned. I explained we had called in advance, what we were told, and what the reality was when we came in. He started getting really rude and abusive, and finally told us to leave, which after all this, we gladly did. We will NEVER go into this restaurant again! Perhaps the owner will read this and find out what goes on there when he’s not there. To top it off, the quest dip which is supposed to be served hot, was lukewarm and lumpy.More
