Overpriced and small portions. I think we are done with Cracker Barrel . Paid over $30 for same meals we can get at Bob Evans for $20. Larger portions at Bob Evans as well. Qualify is average. Service is great And friendly tho,

TOO MUCH MUSIC NOISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food was XLNT -- Service was, and usually is XLNT -- NO complaints there. BUT, the background music (read *NOISE*) was extremely LOUD and IRRITATING. I asked THREE TIMES if they could possibly turn down the music, but to no avail. If I wanted to go to a C&W Concert, I could, but just wanted a reasonably quiet meal. It's nice to be able to converse in a normal tone of voice at a dining establishment, and hope they realize that WE'RE NOT ALL DEAF, or ENJOY LOUD MUSIC !! *SPECIAL THANKS* to Yvonne, for finding an elusive, tasty item in the shop !

We've gone to a few Cracker Barrels when traveling - the chain is pretty consistent. Food is reasonably priced and nothing fancy. Server didn't seem like she was enjoying her job at all.

After a Long Day of Fossil Shark Tooth Hunting......

The 3 of us were hungry after a long day at the beach. Cracker Barrels have always provided a quality menu with reasonable prices and this location did not disappoint. Two of us had breakfast which is available anytime of the day or night. Just enough to fill that hunger void. The young lady who served us was charming and very attentive. Definitely head back if in the area.

Not Covid-19 friendly. Nothing anywhere asking for masks to be worn. Most customers were not wearing a mask. Tables looked to be cleaned and they were clear of condiments etc. Food is still decent and fair prices. Cracker barrel needs to ask all customers to wear masks!!

We've walked out twice in the last year because we wasn't waited on. Today we was seated and watched as a couple came 5 min after us got their drinks and ordered their food. Manager apologized but it's just the worst be place for service around. Their loss we're done.

Rather Poor Breakfast

I have eaten at a lot of Cracker Barrels around the Eastern US. For breakfast I usually stick to eggs and meat. Today, nothing wrong with eggs and meat however the biscuits were undercooked and sorta flat. This is a fairly universal CB deficiency and I don't understand why a Lebanon TN company can't make a decent biscuit. Normally the grits are pretty watery and tasteless and depend on you putting a lot of salt, pepper and butter on them. Today however, the grits had been dished out in their small dish and presumable left under a heat lamp so that a crust formed on the top and along the sides of the bowl. It would have been alright if you were to subsequently fry them however..... I ended upheaving to make a slit in the top of the grits so I could put butter on them. I ended up putting the crust on my plate. The grits were not thin and runny as usual. I wonder how long they had been sitting there? I asked for honey with my biscuits and am still waiting for it. COVID procedures were being followed.

Worst service

My wife and I were on a trip of Florida checking out sites to winter in. We stopped in at Cracker Barrell and encountered the worst service we've had in a long, long time. People seated around us and all come and gone. The hostess commented on that it had been nearly an hour since we sat down and still had not been served. I've been on the road for 40 years and hate it when a restaurant or waittress won't admit to screwing up. The food wasn't that good either. We're still traveling but will probably look elsewhere for our breakfasts.

Went with a friend. She had egg shells in her over easy eggs. I ordered scrambled eggs and they came out as one big piece of overdone egg and with an eggshell the size of a dime. I was able to remove it, but two other bites contained more shells…. Told waitress, she basically blew us off. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Relaxing lunch with family

While in the area again recently my wife and son we took an afternoon to head to Lido and Venice beaches plus take in some shopping at University Mall. Cracker Barrel sounded good and on this Florida summer day it was almost 100 degrees outside. We eat at numerous Cracker Barrels while traveling over 150 days per year and occasionally you get one location that is lackadaisical but this is one of the better locations in the chain. Server and hostess were very kind and assisting and we were seated right away. We began with the biscut beignets which are so good . You get butter pecan sauce to dip them in and I highly recommend them. I then ordered the cheeseburger with steak fries, my wife had the grilled chicken salad and my son had the child's pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausage. Everything was made to order and delicious. Our server was talking with us about Hurricane Ian from the fall of 2022. Several of the employees at this location completely lost their homes and insurance is trying not to pay. They still need our prayers and if you stop here for a meal please consider tipping a little bit higher of a percentage than normal 20 percent.

Cold food when served.

We keep trying the place in hopes the food improves but each time we say it will be the last. Food is always just above room temperature. Even the”fresh” pancakes will not melt the butter. If you like hot food, do NOT eat here. This isn’t just a problem at this restaurant, it is a Corporate wide issue. I’m surprised the health Department’s allows this problem to continue.

Very Good with Curb side pick up

Excellent service for curb side pick up. Order on line is easy pay with credit card, tell what time to pick up, call when you arrive and they bring your order out. We have used this many times in the past few months food has always been good and service excellent.

Bad meal at Cracker Barrel

I love Cracker Barrel! I have never had a bad meal there, some better than others, but never a bad meal. Until yesterday, then I had a bad meal. I ordered my favorite, chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, and fried okra. The chicken and dumplings were too tough to eat, the mashed potatoes looked like they were glooped onto my plate from a can and the fried okra was like trying to eat golf balls. The only thing good about the meal was the service and the sweet tea. A decided disappointment.

Really bad breakfast

Wife and I went here again for breakfast on Saturday. We had the $5.99 specials. Hers was average and mine was awful. Worst biscuit and gravy ever. Hard biscuit and cool tasteless gravy. The sausage patties were black on outside and pink inside. How do you do that? We are done with breakfast here because it is a roll of the dice. Too bad because we like the place. Did not see a manager at 9 am. They need one!!

First time ever, will definitely be back!

We had never eaten at any Cracker Barrel and came here by coincidence. I had rainbow trout and my husband grilled chicken tenders. Both were very tasty and we totally loved the place and ambiance. We will definitely eat here again when we visit Venice again. Hope to be back soon!
