We were supposed to be on a tight dining budget this trip, but I didn't want McDonald's for lunch again, so we walked and found this place. Now it's a little more expensive than the 2 for $3 at McDonald's but no regrets. Toasted bread sandwiches, Cubans and other types are served here. You can get a combo with black... More

This was a good Cuban sandwich. Maybe not the best I've had but it was different . The classic Cuban, as I know it, is made with smoked ham, roasted pork (pernil), Swiss cheese, dill pickles, mayo and mustard on Cuban bread. The addition of salami was a nice touch. They did not have French fries but directed me to... More

Stopped here for quick lunch. I love Cuban sandwiches and these filled the bill. fresh bread cooked in a press. Just the right amount of filling. Definitely will be back.

I've tried Cuban sandwiches all over the Tampa Bay Area, without question the Floridian's are the best. It's come to the point that I now end up comparing all other Cuban's to the Floridian's.

We saw a constant stream of locals going to the Floridian, so we had to try it. The Cuban sandwiches were about the best we have ever had. Not much seating, but worth it.

This place has been around for years, so I decided to give them a try. It's small and quaint. Nothing fancy going on in here. The food was good, but it would be better to just get it to go. The place feels sort of dreary inside, so I should have taken the Cuban down to the beach and enjoyed... More

I've been here about 5 times. I always get the Cuban sandwich. The bread is fresh, there's plenty of ham and it's a great value. Unfortunately, the service is slow. If there's 5 people in line when you walk in, expect a 15 minute wait. And the guys behind the counter have one speed -- slow. Plus, they look like... More

Small place, has patio seating. The best Cuban I ever had. Husband had the cuban soup. Huge menu. Service A1, nice girl explained everthing about the menu. I urge everyome to try it. It doesn;t present itself as a 4 star restaurant, but you will be going back again

While visiting Treasure Island, every local we talked to said The Floridian had the best Cuban sandwiches. They were so right! I'm not a fan of beans and rice, but the side dish was really good. The place is small, with tables inside and out. We took our food " to go," and ate on the beach. Perfect!
