If you like Thai food this place was very good. Plenty of food, we had enough for lunch the next day. It was about a five minute ride from our hotel which was The Best Western at 1209 Federal Hwy, Stuart. It is a small place.

This place looks rough from the street, but go inside and give it a chance. My friends and I went in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. This was their first experience with Thai food so I ordered for us. I ordered chicken pad Thai, vegetable green curry, and beef massaman curry. We each had a salad to start which... More

Lunch entrees come with soup, spring roll and rice. A good choice of food and sauces. I had salmon with peanut sauce and it was lovely. Left feeling very full. Really great place if you are in downtown Stuart and hungry.

Truly one of my favorite places! A must if you love Thai cuisine. Great food and a great staff. A must visit if you are in the Stuart area!

Parking here is limited but mush easier to find than down town. The food is excellent and service is always fast and friendly.

I met up with friends who had eaten here before and told me it was very good. They were wrong, it wasn't very good, the food was excellent and the service was pretty good too. From the fried calamari to the curry dishes to the complementary fried banana slices with dipping sauces for dessert...we can't wait to go back. Also,... More

Tom Yum soup had little flavor, was missing some ingredients. Had nice chicken and shrooms. Wife's ginger salad dressing was too sweet. Her pad thai also sweet, the sauce was almost syrupy. My chicken basil eggplant had lots of nice veggies, but NO basil. Also I ordered it #4 spicy and it was mild. Chicken namsod was good, but didn't... More

Most vegetarians know that a Thai restaurant offers a big selection to those of us who don't eat meat. But there can be big differences among those meatless dishes. Basil Garden knows what to do with tofu! It was cooked so well and the portion was so large I could only eat half my dinner. They even brought us FREE... More

My daughter and I rarely eat out unless I do my homework and research reviews about most places we visit. Just because a place has great reviews doesn't necessarily mean that those patrons know what good food is or what it should taste like. We've always wanted to try eating at Basil Thai mainly because of it's location and charm.... More

What a let down after hearing this was a little jewel of a Thai Restaurant on Federal Highway; Both my wife and I arrived around 3 PM and were given the Lunch Menu; Both of us ordered the Seafood Combination Lunch special for $10.95 which include soup of the day (chicken which was ample and very tasty and a fried...
