Tucked in one corner of a small shopping area, Miguels (he is Spanish, thus the name)is a fine French restaurant with excellent food fine, extensive wine list and a warm very European atmosphere, top service. A really big plus is the outstanding early menu (5-6 - to 630 off season. We enjoyed pate, an appetizer of shrimmp scampi, real fish... More

A terrific restaurant, excellant food, and one of the best experiences in my 70 years. Serge was the best. Everyone was more than helpful. I cannot recommend Miguel's too highly.

We come early, and get a full dinner (appetizer, salad, and desert) with a good main course for what many other places charge for an entree ($20 range). My wife loves their filet; I do fish and have not been disappointed. The non-early menu looks reasonable as well ($20 or a bit more) for entrees. We've not done later dining,... More

Miguel's was recommended by Florida residents and was the perfect setting for our 50+ anniversary. Service was very attentive. I had filet tips with a pastry but the tips were a bit tough. I would just make a different choice next time. Because of the early bird ending, it was a bit noisy. Needs a second chance

For our first “special” dinner while visiting Siesta Key we selected Miguel's Restaurant; a French Restaurant. It is located in the corner of a strip mall. You would not think that this “high-end” restaurant would be in this location. Lucky for us that it is there. We had reservations; which are a must. Once inside we were amazed that the... More

Our dinner was excellent. Lamb chops cooked perfectly, crisp salad, tender crisp vegetables, all flavorful and delicious. My partner had the skate special, also perfectly cooked. The friends were were with were equally pleased with their meal. I was pleased that such a busy restaurant could be consistent in the food that arrived at our table.

Very busy little cozy restaurant was romantic and had terrific service. We started with the french onion soup that had excellent flavor and was fresh and clean and not souped up with anything. Served with it was hot garlic bread that melted in your mouth. Next came the caesar salad that they made table side. Our waiter made the dressing... More

Went to early bird . Nice selection of entrees on menu. My wife had the lamb chops (4), and said they were excellent. My filet also was excellent. Complete dinner includes appetizer ,salad, potato , vegetable and dessert.

Really nice family meal here recently. We were a large group and the place was really packed. Luckily we had a reservation and got right in. Service was excellent. We started out with Caesar salad's made tableside which was really fantastic. As our waiter promised, there were plenty of anchovies in the dressing but really you could not taste a... More
