Conveniently located in St. Armands Circle, Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar is minutes away from Lido Key, Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. Ideal for lunch, dinner or happy hour, it features a second-story dining room with sweeping sunset views. This is our only Island location where the restaurant and store are under different roofs. We love the flavor of everything at Tommy Bahamas, and had never been to this location. It did not disappoint. Service is great, and we recommend any of the "shareables" as well. We often split one really nice appetizer and one really nice dish and order an extra veggie so we can still indulge in dessert, but this time it was too much. But with good timing you can go to the beach and see the sunset nearby in a 5 minute walk and come back for dessert at Tommy's or along the Armond Circle.

We decided to splurge on lunch and chose Tommy Bahama’s. It did not disappoint. From the moment you enter this restaurant you are made to feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. We had a tuna bowl and fish tacos, and each was delicious! We would visit here again.

We had a good dinner tonight at Tommy Bahamas restaurant. It was a nice night so we dined outdoors. We shared a steak flatbread to start, and then we had dinners of coconut shrimp, steak tacos, grilled mahi and a rib eye. It was an enjoyable evening

Service can make or break a Restaurant.
Visiting my son and future daughter in law and they have been wanting to try this place. Now I know why they waited for me, because I always pick up the tab. Average entree price is $25.
Now they are a scratch kitchen, and their menu selection is rather small, but man was it a great meal. We started with a Dip Duo. Fresh salsa and guacamole (fresh, chunky, cilantro and lime juice). The chips were fresh and still warm.
I ordered the Filet Salad, medium. My salad was so fresh. The tomato was absolutely perfect. The greens are dressed in a vinaigrette, then topped with a garlic aioli sauce. My filet was cooked perfectly. I ate every single bite.
My son ordered the macadamia crusted snapper. SO GOOD! I only had two bites, but it was so good.
Our server brought bread out late. Their butter tastes like Christmas. Yummy
We ordered a key lime pie to go. And never got it. As soon as we paid the check, our server never came back to check if our dessert made it out. We waited a few minutes and then sorta forgot about the dessert until I got to my car. $7.99 desserts are pricey, and it’s a shame it never made it out to us. Gave 3 stars for the service.

We took our family of six to dinner today and we were all so disappointed in the service, the atmosphere and the food. We had to ask three different times for silverware. We had a family of six. She brought us three sets of silverware. She came back and my husband had to ask for silverware; then, my son had to ask for silverware. Can't she count? The coconut shrimp had a funny "moth both" smell to them. My grand daughter said the Mac n'cheese tasted funny. So, I tasted it and thought; yes, it tastes very "refrigerated" or old, and it was runny on the bottom like watery. I told the waitress and she said "well, that's just the way it is".....the lemonade was watered down; and so was the apple juice. Tommy Bahamas is NOT what it used to be. We are so excited to make the trip there; and we all decided this is not what it used to be; and it was more like over priced cheap bar food. We paid $195.81 before tip; four adults and two children. Never again.

My fault for returning to a restaurant that is very very noisy, over priced with food that is good but nothing to rave about. Guess we are really paying for the name "Tommy Bahama". Staff always does a great job.

We used to go here all the time. We were just there in February and found out that the tuna dishes that we used to love the most have been taken off the menu. So we ordered the baby back ribs and they were overcooked and tasted funny. The service was very slow but pleasant enough. This used to be one of our favorite places to go. We have no desire to go back anytime soon.

We rarely go to chain restaurants. This was in a great location, it was lunchtime, we were hungry and we were there. It is toward the end of one of the strips, and was less crowded and parking was fairly easy. Outdoor seating is fantastic. The pineapple coconut mojito could be served as a drink, again as an app and again for dessert. Delicious. We shared small plates. Ahi tuna tacos had great flavor, as was the flatbread. The duo of chips was predictable - open a bag and our salsa into a bowl. The goat cheese was pretty good and timing of the service was perfect. Good place to stop for a relaxed lunch.

We ordered the cod sandwich with fries and the chicken and mango salad. I thought the cod was good but my husband thought it was much too greasy. We both agreed his fries were loaded with way too much salt. He did not enjoy his lunch at all. My salad was tasty but not much in the way of mango, a few small diced bits. The grilled chicken was undercooked and stringy. We were there for lunch and it was definitely not busy so no excuses. For the prices they charge I would not go back to this restaurant again.

My friend took me here for my birthday and we both enjoyed our meals. We shared mussels and we both had the Caesar salad and I must say the dressing was delicious. For our main course I had the Kona coffee crusted Rib Eye which was cooked perfect and served with asparagus and cauliflower mashed, very pleased with the meal. My friend had the Parmesan crusted Chicken and she was very pleased with her meal also. For dessert Nancy the Mgr bought me a delicious coconut layer cake for my birthday , yummy. Overall a great night at Tommy Bahama.

We were disappointed. We ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer. They tasted good but were served just barely warm. We then ordered the tortilla soup. It was outstanding. We then ordered the fish taco and steak tacos. The fish tacos were not hot and the steak was served very rare. Overall, the meal was disappointing. And to top it all off, after we left we realized that we were overcharged.

We ate twice while on vacation. (Made reservations both times) Service was a bit slow both times, but still acceptable. Live music was nice, altho we sat too close first night, got a table further away next time.
They were very accommodating of us , since we needed wheel chair access.
The kona crusted ribeye was delicious, as well as the pinia colada cake!
We got appetizers the first night, they were also good. Would recommend eating here.

I had the filet mignon steak salad, my son had the mahi fish tacos and my husband had the grilled mahi. All were cooked perfectly. Reservations are highly recommended even for a Thursday evening. Our server was friendly and attentive. Very pleasant dining experience, especially with a homemade ice cream shop next door.

We have enjoyed the food and service at TB many times. Our post pandemic visit was very lacking. The service was not professional. The drinks were not pleasing. The ahi mahi tacos were very disappointing. Serving of fish was very small and not warm. The coconut shrimp was the saving grace of the meal. We were overcharged and had to bring to servers attention for adjustment. I doubt that we will return.

We have visited TB numerous times and was looking forward to a nice lunch.
They missed the mark. The mango margarita missed the mark and then tried the typical mojito. The usual sugar cane was small wood stick.
Of course, they charged for both drinks and corrected the bill once we brought it to their attention.
The coconut shrimp was very good, however the mahi mahi tacos also missed the mark.
The lunch with tip was over 70 dollars.
Probably not a return trip for us even though they are just ‘“down the street”.
Suggestion :
Please let customers know there is an elevator to reach 2nd floor.
The manager asked if we had a reservation and suggested another table because a large group was expected. The entire 2nd floor was empty except for us and no group appeared.
Our last visit.
