We stopped just for the pies. The line for the restaurant was out the door at 2pm on a weekday, but the take out window was almost no wait. The pies are amazing, like made by somebody's old grandma.

I had heard of this restaurant on Man V Food and I had been to Sarasota a few times since seeing the show and never got a chance to eat there. I made sure to make it this time and let me tell you the little bit you wait in line and you will wait in line is well worth... More

This is an Amish restaurant typical of what you find in NE Ohio. The Amish have set up a community in Sarasota and Yoders is a good example of home cooking. Save room for pie. Maybe even take one to go but keep in mind these things are huge. Also avoid Saturday afternoon. They are packed. They are closed on... More

My family are in Sarasota for spring training and were looking for a good place to eat. Yoders was recommended by a friend so we decided to give it a try, and boy were we impressed. Our first visit was on a Saturday for dinner where we were greeted with a line out the door. The line moved very quickly... More

Seriously, to avoid crowds, we went to Yoders for breakfast, on Valentines Day. I had homemade corn beef, and eggs. My husband had Suzy's Breakfast which was a sausage gravy type skillet. The food was awesome!!! We did not have to wait this day, but we've waited for dinner before. Don't be fooled by the size of the line, it... More

After standing in line for about 30 minutes I was somewhat disappointed with the food at Yoder's. I had the "famous" fried chicken dinner which came out lukewarm and frankly, no better than KFC or Popeye's. And for $16.50 I expected better. Maybe it sat waiting for the waitress to bring it out but it just seemed like it had... More

Yoders offers exactly what it boasts: homestyle cuisine at reasonable prices. The pies are second to none in Florida, or so it is sad. I found them to be wonderful, but I don't know that I have sampled pie in the state to really to declare them number one. I personally enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter pie, but I have... More

This restaurant is fabulous, great menu, superb service, warm, cosy atmosphere & always busy. The pies are to die for & lots of choice in the next door market to take away. The chilli at the deli counter is a must buy - really tasty. Great selection of fruit & veg at very reasonable prices. a little gift shop also... More

Being from central Pa and Amish and Mennonite area I have been to restaurant of this type many times. This lunch buffet was average at best of those I have been to before. overcooked veg, fried food solo. I would not come back on my own.

This is a Very popular Resturant and had to wait for lunch and there was a very long line but the people in line said we would not be disappointed and they were right it was delicious and the pie was excellent we will go back but at a earlier time but it's worth the wait.
