When I lived in Sarasota, I would walk downtown almost everyday to grab a newspaper and have breakfast or lunch. Whole Foods was one of my favorite spots. With its location just a block away from Main Street and not far from the library it is an easy walk. There is outside seating, which can get crowded during peak times,... More

I have been to WF a few times in the past 2 or 3 years to pick up a quick lunch. The food is overpriced and usually pretty bland. I guess because it's healthy. The pizza was okay, but way overpriced. You won't fit in if you don't have a man bun and a beard.

The salad bar and the pre cooked hot dishes were all delicious. The best I have had of any Wholefoods I've ever visited and by far better than any restaurant I tried during my stay in Sarasota. Kale with garlic dressing: heavenly (and I don't even like kale!) Indian dishes: wow, delicious and light (not heavy) comfort food: really authentic... More

Where to start? There is just so much choice you are guaranteed to come away with something you did not know you wanted, before you went in. Prices are a little high but, the taste and flavor is worth the extra.

I often stop here and other wholefoods to visit the salad/hot bar. It's always fresh, quick and healthy. I can count on healthy food on the go and out on the road. As for price, I'd pay about the same for a dinner sized salad here as I do in a restaurant. But here I can choose what I want... More

Good: Excellent selection of unique, local, and fine foods Bad: Super overpriced and super crowded (There is a Trader Joe's just a bit further away from the center of downtown off Tamiami Trail--definitely not as fancy, but a much better value)

I shop here about once a month. They have a nice variety of (expensive) cheeses, some good chocolate, nice choice of fresh and frozen fish, and a whole section of wacky "health" items. All in all, an interesting experience!

save your money go to Trader Joes for ORGANIC, NON GMO foods with a friendly staff at half the price. Whole Foods sucks!

My wife and I visited twice as we were staying at a b&b and we were making our own food. Our holiday was about health and rest, and we discovered the perfect place to nourish the body at Whole Foods. Lots of healthy choices, taking grocery to a "whole" new level. We purchased our organic dinner the night we discovered... More

We visited the aquarium with our granddaughter and were looking for someplace to have lunch. Decided to try Whole Foods and so glad we did. The variety of prepared foods that they have available is amazing, everything from pizza to sushi. They have many soups, stews, Mexican foods, salads and many other ready made selections. You can also have a... More
