Beautiful setting on the beach. Servers were good. Problems: ordered Moscow Mule - made wrong in my opinion and served in a cheap brass coated mug that was chipped along the rim leaving the tin showing and affecting the taste. They remade drink a little better 2d time. Later, son received a "skunked" beer had to be sent back. 3... More

The Vue on 30A is a casually elegant restaurant on the beach with a gorgeous view. It is associated with a golf course and is open to members as well as the public. The waiter was very attentive so we were pleased with the service. However, we ordered the pistachio encrusted grouper and the filet mignon and neither were exceptional.... More

We went there for a special dinner with our son and wife who live in California that we had not seen for over a year. We were greeted and seated with minimum wait. Our problem started when we found that the actual menu was very different from the on line menu; we had chosen this restaurant for some of the... More

Made a reservation and stopped here for dinner tonight. We sat out on the back terrace patio overlooking the Gulf Coast - Santa Rosa Beach - to watch the sunset. We had a side of hot bread with herb-olive oil to dip. It was also very tasty as an hors-d'oeuvres and we also had a very nice gin and tonic.... More

This is one of the more upscale restaurants in the area ... still casual, but not t-shirts and flip flops. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for dinner and watched the sunset. There is also indoor dining. Nice selection of salads, appetizers and seafood. Iceberg wedge was very good, Thai shrimp delicious. Fried oyster appetizer was good, but $13 for a... More

We had an excellent lunch. I had the fish tacos and my grilled versus fried request was honored with no hesitation. My wife had the spinach salad with grilled fish and she said it was one of the best salads ever. The 1/2 price bottles of wine at lunch is a nice draw.

We've been to Vue ten or so times, and have never been disappointed. One of the things that they seem to do exceptionally well is salad dressing-go figure. We always get some type of local seafood, and it's always good. One our favorites!

We were eager to enjoy a meal at Vue on our first evening in Santa Rosa Beach. Had heard great things about the restaurant, although these must be from "in season" as the food and the service, overall, was very poor. A couple of us ordered the bone-in strip (per the constant recommendations by the waitress), plus a lobster tail.... More

The buffalo mozzarella appetizer and the scallops were excellent and the menu special of tuna was very good. My husband enjoyed the lamb chops. Not only was the meal good, but the sunset is impeccable.

We will probably never return. We called several times to secure a reservation. The phones were out. We arrived at 4:50 pm. We were told there were only outdoor tables available so we had to sit outside. Our waiter, Michael was very good. I always order the grouper. The piece of fish gets smaller and dryer each time it seems.... More
