Wonderful food and drinks. We were able to go for both dinner and lunch. Service was very good. We loved the crab cakes appetizers and apple slaw. Doc Ford's is a must visit when we travel to Sanibel.

Food was good, but kind of pricy which makes sense for the atmosphere. Fish Tacos were a little watery but my boyfriend for the Cheesesteak & loved it. Liquor was extremely strong- which isn't always a bad thing. Although, for someone who is extremely allergic to nuts, there weren't any dessert choices available that were nut-free. Still would recommend.

This is a great place to have lunch . They do lots of burgers and fish sandwiches etc. They always have 'fish of the day' dishes and much more besides. This is a modern restaurant and there is also a shaded outside eating area too. Good value family restaurant.

Well, the reviews were right about Doc Fords place. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The rib-eye steak as well as the various seafood selections were well prepared, presented, and tasted great. This was such a pleasant surprise after the trip to Trader's the night before. Great job Doc Ford.

Third visit this week, a big shout out to our Server Lisa, and eve though she was from Michigan, she did a great job taking care of us. The Deep sea Mahi Mahi was one of the best meals I have ever had!

Our family has been vacationing in Sanibel for the last 7 years and Doc Ford's has never disappointed us! In our opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in both Sanibel and Captiva! Don't miss it!

Ate here 2 nights, and my mom and brother had dessert here one day as well. Very close to where we were staying (Mitchell's Sandcastles). Since it is a rum bar had flights of rum which was unique. I enjoyed the "Sanibel Stoop" the drink they had created, and $1 of the price was given to the children's hospital. We... More

I went in the off season, it was really quiet so we got exceptional service. YOU HAVE TO GET DOC'S BEACH BREAD! It might be my favorite part of our meal! I also got the Mahi Mahi. From start to finish it was an awesome meal!
