Fun atmosphere, great Fish 🐟 dishes. We had the ceviche as an appetizer, the fish tacos and spicy 🌶 shrimp tacos. The salsa for the fish tacos 🌮 was excellent. We saw someone with carrot cake and wished we had room for it. Try a dirty monkey 🐒 it's a great frozen drink. For for groups of all ages! Terri... More

Husband and I were seated on the back porch. Great waiter and food even better. Husband was wondering about the pairing of his food: coconut encrusted triple tail special, mashed sweet potatoes and roasted broccoli served with a pinta colada sauce but is was delicious. My Yucatán Shrimp and mixed salad also were fabulous!!

We had never visited Doc Ford's but enjoyed our dinner here. The new building is large and attractive. There is plenty of parking. It has a nice large full-service bar. Most people wait for outdoor seating but we were fine indoors. The menu is local/tropical/Mexican inspired. Excellent mohito!! The food was good but not fantastic. Our server (Ray) was super... We typically go to one of the Doc Fords restaurants during our stays in Fort Myers. While some restaurants come and go, Docs is always a place to go to get great food. This new Docs is beautiful. We went on a busy night but had great service and the food was excellent. I'm not a seafood person so I... More

No trip to Sanibel is complete for us without a visit to this restaurant. The Yucatan shrimp are heavenly and the daily fish specials really are special. Even simple things are done well with premium ingredients.

Plenty of rum drinks to choose from. Way underrated menu item is the Parmesan crusted chx sandwich. Get it without bun @ extra lemon aioli sauce. TDF!

Friends invited us for lunch at Doc Ford's and it was so fun and delicious that we brought our family back for dinner. Doc offers a huge menu and everything was excellent. We ate at some fine dining places while in FMB and all agreed the food and service was better at Doc's for half the price.

Let me preface this by saying, I love Doc Fords, i frequented it many times in it's previous Rabbit Road Location! My family and I all went out to celebrate a birthday, albeit a little late (2 weeks), our server made it feel as if it were that night! Johnny was great on the phone when I called to make... More

We heard all about the new location of Doc Fords. We saw the great new rustic building, and understand the popularity of a new dining experience. We waited 25 minutes for a table for two. When we were seated in a comfy booth, we ordered drinks, apps, and dinner. The drinks came out promptly, the apps were yummy and then... More
