If you can manage to take advantage of their Island time specials you got the great food and an extremely reasonable price.
Love sitting in the bar area listening to live music. I enjoyed their famous Macadamia coded shrimp and mahi fish tacos and a mojito
I really wish they would switch back to the original serving style of the Mojito including the sugarcane

This restaurant has a fabulous menu and absolutely great outdoor seating however they have changed their policy and no longer accept reservations and thus you cannot request outdoor seating. Given the current situation we opted instead for to go food. They handled this very well placing the order over the telephone and they offer curbside pickup including alcoholic beverages. All of the food was perfectly cooked service to the car was great we will be back. I wish they would reconsider allowing reservations for those patrons that want to maintain social distancing or eat outside

This place is amazing. It’s so beautiful. Great date night place to go. Grand Boulevard is a fun place to walk around before or after dinner. The restaurant is in the same bldg. as the store (aren’t They smart) this is a very Bahamian looking white building that’s incredibly romantic. It was the perfect place for hubby and I to come to. Food is expensive but good. If you come during the week late afternoon is happy hour and there are some really yummy food choices that are almost half off. Drinks were also cheaper. Outside has some tables, which during Covid we appreciated. The bartender (forgot her name) was wonderful and very attentive. She was the original person who told us to come back for happy hour. Glad we listened to her. Happy hour was 3-6 during the week and they had Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese was $8 And so was he coconut shrimp...yum!

We are visiting the area and have been to this restaurant on 3 different occasions with different people. The first 2 times were very good. Today not so much. We went there for lunch. I ordered the fish and chips off the special menu. The waiter said they had malt vinegar. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich but asked for regular fries instead of the Yucca fries. When he brought the food my plate had 3 large fries that were very spicy. The waiter had noticed that they had not given my husband the fries he requested so he did bring them. I had a few of them instead of the spicy fries. It seems weird to serve those fries with fish and chips. The fish was very good. However the waiter did not bring the malt vinegar. I had to wait until he took the order at another table and call him over. He seemed annoyed that I bothered him. When he finally came back to clear the dishes I asked him if it was normal to serve those fries with fish and chips and he said yes but he'd let the chef know. A person at another table ordered fish and chips though and my husband said he could see they got different fries. The service was extremely slow. It seemed to us that each waiter only had one table outside. This also seemed strange to us as the waiter was never around for us to ask him for things. If this was our first visit we would not go back. They charge too much for mediocre service and food we're not happy with.

High expectations, but we were rather disappointed. First of all wanted to mention that our server Michelle did an outstanding job! We had three issues during the dinner, and that was 3 too many:
* I ordered a Caesar Salad and for $11 got literally 6 small and 2 even smaller leaves of Romain letucce,accompanied with 4(croutons)
* my wife irdered a crabmeet and guacamole salad, and for $22 she gota really nice salad with a load of crab meat
* We also ordered soups, and got salads long before soup, so by the time we took care of salad, soup was warm-ish
* we ordered a Creme Brulee for a desert and it looked nice but had a terrible grainy texture. They replaced it with a new one which was quickly made and still hot.
Despite a reduction of $22 on our bill by The General Manager, this dinner was a real letdown - we came to enjoy the evening, hoping for a great dining experience, and not to save a few dollars.

This place has a great feel, and could make a wicked specialty cocktail. The bar is beautiful. Great outdoor seating area. To me, those are the things you come here for.
The menu offers some nice choices, but I found the food to be bland. The lump crab cakes were okay, but the slaw served with it was very very good (not a creamy slaw). The highly recommended salad with mango disappointed when compared to the one served at a similar corporate chain, Houston's. The macadamia encrusted snapper was heavy crusting that hid the fish. I love the lightness and flavor of snapper. This preparation made it heavy. My Blue crab and avocado salad was shredded romaine, a tart lemon dressing, too many capers (and I love capers), but plenty of avocado and nicely covered with blue crabmeat.
The best thing I enjoyed was the crab bisque. It was very flavorful.
The service was very very attentive, to the point of being overly aggressive. Entrees were served while we were still eating salad/soup; we had to fight to hold onto plates before we were finished.
It's a great setting, and it's a great place for a group to go and enjoy themselves.

Wonderful service and menu - we ended up just ordering off the happy hour menu and sampling several delicious options. Coconut shrimp, shishito peppers, fish tacos and baked brie followed by a generous serving of key lime pie were plenty for the two of us. And the mojitos were very tasty!

Excellent meal. Had crab cakes and shrimp. The key lime pie was the best I have ever had! SO GOOD! It was a bit loud as the bar is in the center of the seating area. Manger stopped to visit and made sure we were happy. My friend did not like the sauce on the crab cakes so he made sure she got another from the kitchen foc

My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner here in late July 2020 during Corona season. It’s incredibly helpful that this restaurant allows you to make reservations (even for the day of). Many of the surrounding restaurants do not have this and you’ll end up waiting outside for an hour or two. We had a delicious mahi mahi fish taco appetizer. The homemade bread was amazing, loved it! We enjoyed a couple of mi tais and they were strong & tasty! Possibly my favorite offering was the blue sherry crab bisque soup. GOOD NIGHT - it was fantastic, some of the best bisque I’ve ever had. My entrée was a tasty grilled chicken sandwich with jerk sauce and garlic aioli. Outstanding! My wife had the coconut shrimp and gave it very high marks! This place is a solid spot in the Sandestin community amongst a host of mediocre and junky options. The service here and cleanliness was also very good. They appear to be doing everything they could in order to adhere to social distancing.

We have a second home in Miramar Beach and spend quite a bit of time here in the winter. One of my favorite things to do is go to different restaurants. When I saw that Tommy Bahama's was in the top 10 I couldn't wait to go. We were seated in a hallway that led to other dining areas. It was loud and very busy. May as well have been eating in a mall food court. Our server was so busy that taking care of our table of 6 seemed like an inconvenience and an afterthought. We were never offered another drink and I had to ask to have my water glass refilled. The food was just ok. Nothing special. There is soooo much good food in the Destin/Miramar Beach/30A area, I can't imagine why this place is busy and in the top 10 of restaurants. We won't go back.

We ordered the Macadamia crusted Snapper meal kit as well as the avocado salad. Everything was presented beautifully despite being packaged to go including their fabulous bread. To go service was great. Everyone was masked and I felt safe plan on spending about $40 per person without alcohol

We ate at Tommy Bahama's with a group of 5 adults and 5 children and everything was wonderful. The server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food - from kids meals all the way up to adult entrees and appetizers - were all very good. I'll return to TB's next time I'm in Sandestin.

This place has it all: great atmosphere and food! I felt like I was at a resort on a tropical island as I enjoyed my Thai Shrimp and Scallops with almond rice in a sweet and savory curry sauce. My husband ordered the Lump Blue Crab and Avacado Salad, which was beautifully presented and delicious. The show stopper was the Key Lime Pie! My husband is not even a huge fan of Key Lime Pie but is still raving about how good their's was!

We recently had early dinner at Tommy Bahama's in Miramar Beach, FL. We started with the World Famous Coconut Shrimp; shared the Grilled Chicken and Mango Salad; and ended the meal with the Malted Chocolate Cake. The food was amazing; the outdoor seating was comfortable; our waitress Valerie was knowledgable about the menu selections; and she was kind and professional. Our next trip to Miramar Beach will be dinner at Tommy Bahama's.

Consistently good food each time we are there. Coconut shrimp and filet tacos with plantains are our favorites. Kid’s menu had plenty of choices and they will customize the kid’s food to their preference. We also love the online reservation system!
