Friday Night Out

Wow, what a busy place. If you have a large group, like us at 9, you best make a reservation we’ll in advance. The decor was ok, but way to loud for my liking. But that’s the price you pay for eating at a busy spot that has excellent food, yes, the food was tremendous. So was our server. Not only was she a delightful person to deal with she was also very efficient. The final conclusion after filling our bellies that everyone was more than satisfied with their meals. One of my friends said the salmon dish he had was the best he’s had at any of the local restaurants since arriving last October. Most of the other dishes received high praise as well. Such as the Calzone, spaghetti with meatballs, meatballs and potatoes plus the very excellent southern fried chicken. This restaurant is a must for anyone liking Italian food.

Excellent food and service but annoying music

We heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and decided to meet friends for Sunday lunch. The outside waiting area was pleasant. When we went inside we were overwhelmed by the very loud and annoying music. We asked the hostess if the volume could be lowered she told us it could not. I would usually leave, but our friends had traveled a long way, so we stayed. The food was well prepared and the waitress was extremely friendly. Sadly, I will not return until the management has more respect for the customers and considers their desire to have a conversation with friends while dining. At least have a few tables inside without speakers blasting overhead.

I arrived at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and they were already getting busy. They sat me in the patio. The A/C in the patio wasn't working right so it was a bit warm but I was fine with it. They did ask everyone they seated there if they were ok with the temperature. Service was quick and efficient. My requests were handled quickly and with a smile. I ordered three items: Strawberry Arugula Salad: Pretty basic salad. The strawberries were fresh. Candied pecans were a good match. Pretty standard vinegarette. Nothing special but made well and tasted good. Bistro Steak: The steak was cooked perfectly. It was pre-sliced which I usually do not prefer. There was chimichurri sauce on it which I love. I even asked for more and it was no problem. Brussel sprouts were good, a little sweet, though the description did say they were was maple syrup on them. They looked fried which gave them a nice crisp. Overall, a great plate of food. Peanut Butter Pie: This is probably my favorite flavor of pie. Their version definitely had peanut flavor and tasted great I was pretty full so I got it to go. The whipped cream on top kind of melted so it's probably best to eat it at the restaurant. Overall, a great meal. Reasonable prices. I'll definitely come back again.

Extremely overpriced drinks

This place has a nice atmosphere and the food was pretty good, but their specialty drink prices are EXTREMELY overpriced. My wife ordered a Gray Goose martini and they charged $16.00 each. We do not live in NY, NY. There's no excuse for that sort of abuse. Turned what could have been a night of enjoyment to a disappointing dining experience.

Place was cool. New and modern vibe. Serve was awesome. Me and my girlfriend got the fried green tomato with cheese and pork belly. We also ordered a bottle of red wine for $21. Only problem was the soggy/floppy pizza. When they came out one of two were burnt, so the manager offered us another pizza on the house. The pizza was hard to eat with your hands and was pretty wet. We ended up paying $70, which was really $84 total with 20% tip. I honestly feel like the pizza didn't equal its value. We probably won't be returning in a pizza mood again. We asked for a to-go box for the extra pizza but we didn't eat it because it was just soggy sitting in the box. They did however have some other dishes that looked really good. I will be going back because the appetizer was fantastic. Need to give it another chance.

Great food but service was lacking

The food was great but the service was beyond frustrating. My wife ordered a beer and the server had to check to see if it was available. Server said that I was only to come back 10 minutes later to tell us it wasn’t available. Ordered a second beer that wasn’t available either. I ordered an entree from the daily special menu only to be told that wasn’t available either. Server let our drinks run dry and then took forever to bring refills. For the amount of money we spent on this meal the service is really poor.

Disappointing

While visiting St Pete we called in a pick up order for the chicken fried chicken parm, a "full size" Caesar salad, garlic knots, and the gorgonzola filet with truffle fries. In a word- average. Way over priced for the quality of the food we received. The Caesar salad was small and there was only 1/4 of a container of dressing. The garlic knots were still doughy in the middle and only the outer crust was edible. The chicken parm was okay, but the cheese was tough, overcooked and not at all "creamy". The filet was well cooked and tasted good. The fries were soggy. Understanding that this was a pick up order, the fries being soggy is forgiveable, but the rest of the meal was just average. We've had far better Italian from pizza shops. If it wasn't so expensive, we would try again and dine in, but the prices are out of line for the quality and size of portions.

Perfect filet!!!!, w

We went for our 39th anniversary 6/25/2021, Friday later afternoon. He had short rib ragu, that was just like he used to have as a kid. I had the Gorgonzola filet, rare, and it melted in my mouth. Delicious, calamari and shrimp as starters with mustard aioli and bloody mary cocktail sauce came in a heaping portion for two. Loved the fried okra on top. Dessert was outstanding; he had creamy smooth peanut butter pie with chocolate crust and i had an outrageous cocoanut pie topped with mile high whipped cream and toasted cocoanut!!!! One of the owners helped with the to go orders, and the dining manager just came on duty, professionally dressed in a black dress. However when she came in, she brought her dinner in a bag from Culvers and proceeded to unwrap and eat a burger while standing and talking to the owner in the dining room. Granted, is was not real busy but I was perplexed as to why she did not eat before her shift, or in a back break room. Not something guests need to see in such a great restaurant!!!!

We got carry out, make sure you ask for extra dressing, recieved next to no ceasar dressing for my salad., steak was good, chicken parmigiana was really dry. Garlic knots were way under cooked and doughy . Looked like a nice place, should have dined in. Would have made correcting these issue easy, instead they get 2 stars. Alittle expensive for what you get.$84 for chicken parm, steak, salad, and garlic knots

This Could Become a Favorite

A friend, who enjoys the occasional cocktail, was stopping overnight. Knowing Noble Crust had an extensive drink menu, we decided to get a reservation for drinks and dinner. It was an excellent choice. You do need a reservation at NC, this is a popular place. Historically we have eaten pizza at NC, on this visit we expanded the menu. The short rib rigatoni was exceptional. I will, without question, order it again the next time we go. The only downside to NC can be the volume, I would never attempt a group larger than four. So go for the cocktails and food; that’s more than enough reason.

Step son is a local and took us here right Off the plane. Relaxed friendly Atmosphere. Started W Calamari. Fresh and tasty. Perfectly seasoned. Two dipping sauces Salmon Dinner n Steak Dinned for wife and son I had the Braised Short rib special. Delicious. And perfectly cooked. Hint of heat Came with mashed and greens. . Will Definitely be back.

Amazing Food, I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

This food was so great! I cant wait to try more things! We ordered garlic knots for an appetizer, chicken parmesan with spaghetti, short ribs, and peanut butter pie. My boyfriend can be very picky and he said the food was "primo". Its a beautiful restaurant but definitely recommend a reservation as it can be packed. Service was excellent. The only thing that I didnt care for was the very loud heavy bass music.

Spent Christmas Eve Dinner there, had a reservation, and we were sat immediately. Service is fast, attentive and professional. The food was excellent as well as the wine. We felt a bit rushed out though since we arrived at 7:30pm, were done eating by 8:15pm and out by 8:30.... But I am sure it was because Christmas Eve and they were closing by 9pm to send their staff home with family (Which is great and perfectly fine with us). In any case we will certainly go back, it was our first time there but not the last

Filet it Up

Our table had 3 for shrimp and grits, I had the filet and one had the eggplant. The 3 shrimp and grits we all well pleased - you should have seen their plates and the portion was big. The eggplant was stated as great and so much of it we took some home. The filet was the best I've eaten, it was so tender you could literally cut it with your fork. I would definitely recommend it.

Their “smash burger” lives up to the legends on various foodie blogs. Crispy edges. I paired it with a couple of cold “Green Bench Postcard” pilsners. A nice match. You will find that they have a very nice selection of local beers on tap! My only criticism is the inordinately high music decibel of edgy modern hits. There is really no reason for that in a dining establishment with food of this caliber. And it creates a more manic and stressful dining experience than it needs to be. And it probably deters older diners who predominantly populate this neighborhood. Reasonable prices. Excellent service.
