Foodies will flock to this, afterwards walk to the brewery just down the street and enjoy a cold craft beer.

The bright exterior dining area was alive with diners, music, flowing fountains, busy waiters. In contrast, the interior was dark and cool, full of art and a glowing bar that slowly changes colors like a mood ring. The wait staff was helpful and our dishes were delicious. Smartly casual, reasonable prices, positive atmosphere.
Ordered a vegetarian version of the taco salad, with a side of guacamole. Both were fresh and tasty. Sat at an outdoor table with my dog and right away the wonderful waiter brought a bowl of water for my cockapoo, Alexis. Friendly service. No pressure to finish up and leave, as can often be the scenario for a single diner.... More
With indoor and outdoor seating, you can have an amazing time. Outside you have live band at night; they play really good. Food is a combination of Mexican and other latin food, but mostly Mexican. Duck quesadillas are a must! I really enjoyed te decorations. Very friendly staff. Be sure to get there with enough time, specially on weekends, it... More
My in-laws and I were exploring St Pete and love Mexican being from California. My MIL didn't want to eat outside due to the wait, but I would have preferred that to indoors on such a beautiful day. I also liked the outdoor vibe. Our server was great, and I think his name was John. I ordered the Duck and... More
My daughter, grandson & I enjoyed a simply delicious dinner here. We sat on their beautiful Patio area. Loved the sounds of the fountains in the background. It was happy hour so we enjoyed the best margaritas I have had in a very long time. Our waitress was great - so pleasant. We had a side order of fried sweet... More
For those who don't want the noise and smoke of the main drag of the historic district, this is just a short walk and has a nice vibe, outdoor seating near a soothing fountain, the music not too loud, and a great and creative set of brunch choices. There's indoor seating as well. It's a busy place but service was... More
Even a school teacher with no hostess experience knows you don't seat a couple next to a rotating party of over 20, especially after the patrons observed her debating the table choice. Left after 10 minutes knowing what the end of meal outcome could be. So many other amazing choices in the area!
This is one of 3 Red Mesa restaurants in the St. Petersburg area. I've been to one other (4th Street) and this review generally applies to it also. The Cantina is well located just south of Central Ave, and hence good for an after dinner stroll of the local shops, bars, etc. or the St. Pete waterfront. It is an... More
