OMG by far one of the greatest places we have been to. The staff was so attentive and fun to be with. This place has the best bloody Mary's of all I have been to even beat the place in New Orleans who I now rank second. Flying Bridge gets a 10 thumbs up in our book.

This restaurant/bar is conveniently located by the main pool at Tradewinds resort and within 100 feet of the beach. I recommend this bar for getting drinks and apps to take to the beach or pool. The mixed drinks are tasty and the nachos were great. However, lunch was a different story. We had lunch in the outdoor seating area on... More

While staying at the Tradewinds, we had dinner and lunch at the Flying Bridge - initially for the convenience but then also because it was quick, good, and right on the beach. Our service has always been excellent (Thank you AJ for taking good care of us) and the menu choices range from very kid friendly to more interesting local... More

Love this place and our two favorite waitresses Debbie and Heather. They treat you great along with great food. We visit this place the most on our stay at the resort. It's nice when you get to know the people. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Grouper and shrimp tacos are two of our favorites, props to the chef. Can't... More

Rich was outstanding, his fun personality and sense of humor with the girls was very much appreciated. Probably the best mid afternoon drink I ever had. Thanks

Our server Eva was very cordial and gave us the perfect amount of attention. We ordered the seafood roll special which was the perfect beachside meal. I definitely recommend this place!

AJ was our waiter and did not try to rush us as we were waiting for our room to be ready for us. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs

Precious did an AWESOME job serving us food and drinks on our visits to the Flying Bridge while we stayed at Trade Winds. The grouper is a must-get for anyone who likes seafood.

I can't speak for the whole menu, but the fish tacos are excellent. The standard fish tacos contain Tilapia. Nothing wrong with Tilapia, but I highly (HIGHLY!) recommend that you pay a couple of extra bucks and upgrade to the Grouper. First of all, Grouper is my favorite eating fish, and I really like fish. Secondly, it is very nicely... More

Description
The Flying Bridge is quintessential Florida dining. From its origins as an authentic cracker cottage - the simple architectural style of the state's first settlers - to the fresh grouper sandwiches of its kitchen, the restaurant serves up an experience that you can't find outside of the Sunshine State. In warm weather, the restaurant's open-air feel gives you fresh gulf breezes and spectacular views of the beach with our meandering waterway running right beneath you. The all-day menu features a wide range of appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken and fresh seafood sandwiches. In the evenings, The Flying Bridge's extensive menu expands to include even more items, including fresh salmon, grouper, shrimp and other heavier dinner selections that you can enjoy while you watch the sun set over the horizon.
